Emanuele Giulianelli reporting leeds are in for either Patrick Bamford or Mirco Antenucci! Any one of those two would be good addition!

Liamalfie

1.) Prefer Bamford tbh, but would also like some natural width please. MOT

2.) Bamford all day long, scored regularly in this league before too.

3.) IF Emanuele was in the know surely he'd know which one we were interested in!! instead of saying either?

Reports saying that leeds are close on signing Nicky Ajose, a winger from Peterborough, not set the world alight but suppose to have come good! Also lining up Mustapha Yatabare from French Ligue 1 (prem) a goal scorer but probably valued at a few mil!

All over twitter that Viviani has signed a year long loan at Latina, the club he was on loan at last year! Maybe cellino thought he had his guy so he could go on vacation! On the Brightside Our squad should escape relegation again this year :)

strange, I just read that he is going to talk with them on monday, and Cellino back today

2.) Disagree can not see this squad with hock at the helm staying up. very worried nole hunt as number 10? morrision in squad. missing five good players and a manager. still mot even if it is marching back to league 1

3.) Agree. Manager and club go hand in hand when it comes to attracting players. Everything looks gloomy on paper, just hope us doubters are proven wrong. Millwall game will be a litmus test. Long shot but take Milner on loan.

4.) All these doubters. Wish we could be all positive and see what happens.

Lofelongleedsfan

5.) I saw millwall play dartford and millwall were really poor won 1-0 due to defeclted goal which was only shot on target and there best player was fulham's griggs (or briggs) at left back who has since left the club, so we really should sign him as he was class. Millwall will be limtus test and we have to beat them well as if we can not beat a poor millwall team we are in big trouble as they must be one of the weakest teams in league. I enjoyed leeds being in leauge one there were exciting seasons full of great football and suspense and fear I will be enjoying more of that next year. Might be premiture but I have done my research. HOCKADAY OUT. people may say that is early but when everyone is saying it in december people we see I can see into the future

6.) We will still support the boys even though not many have faith in whackaday, may as well have timmy mallet in char he as he has about as much of a clue as are head coach. Let's just hope we don't become whipping boys in the time it takes MC to see sense and sack him.

7.) 02 Aug 2014 09:52:35
It appears now he still hasn't signed for anybody and Leeds are still in the frame. If MC gets his finger out I think he will sign for us.

8.) How about supporting OUR coach you numpties

20 year old Swedish midfielder Robin Quaison of AIK is being chased by Leeds and Palermo, Can't be too bad he's got 4 caps at a young age

Liamalfie

1.) 14 Jul 2014 23:00:28
He has played in a kind of pre-season camp where some good players are tested. He hasn't really played for the National team, it was only at that camp, two years in a row, and at that camp many players from the swedish first league get chances. He's fairly good but at the moment he has no chance at getting into the midfield. In a year, probably.

Jonathan Rossini signs season long loan today with view to permanent, very close on French striker Souleymane Doukara (who I don't rate any better than Morrison/hunt)! Also cellino close on Gaetano Berardi a Swiss international right back because sampdoria need to sell!

Liamalfie

1.) 12 Jul 2014 14:48:56
Why do you not rate him? what have you see of him?

2.) 12 Jul 2014 14:50:57
From what I have read, he has pace, strong and has a bit of skill, good for a player who can also played on the wing, Morrison and Hunt can't.

3.) 12 Jul 2014 17:14:30
Suppose your both right iv only seen his 'goal return stats' and YouTube clips where he was loaned out to lower Italian leagues!

4.) He's 22 as well. Will improve. If anything his pace and power will frighten defences like Beckford did.

5.) Doesn't inspire me either. A real shame we look like losing out to Cagliari of all teams for Pavoletti who does look the real deal. But Doukara is on loan and I guess we haven't broken the bank to sign him, he reminds me of Heskey :-)

Grayson is a league one promotion specialist, we need to be looking at next level

Liamalfie

1.) What a silly comment. he never got chance in championship. we are in this league thanks to Grayson and with out any shadow of a doubt our best football since promotion has been with his teams. with backing grayson would of got us in prem. becchio, howson, snodgrass, beckford, schimcle, gradel, johnson if bates had kept these we would of gone up. Can't say grayson is limited as a manager when his team was limited by bates. at the very least he is worth another shot or worth our gratitued and respect

2.) I agree re Grayson, our first season in the Championship he did really well & who knows with the right backing we may be in the Premiership by now. Very short-sighted by Bates not to back him that season. We only needed a few players to add to Becchio, Snodgrass, Gradel etc. Who know's?

3.) 01 Sep 2014 17:57:12
grayson had to contend with that old noel hunt(kenneth bates)

Sorenson deal collapsed last night after fall out with the players agent; viviani, Sorensen, bellusci, cooper. Maybe a pattern forming here?

Liamalfie

1.) 09 Aug 2014 11:18:59
Have a look at some of the other clubs up and down the leagues - it happens! Some of the agents are on cloud cuckoo land when it comes to money and they clearly want the best deal to improve their cut! If MC bends over and takes it up the chuff then we will be skint again! Be strong and stay strong! Use the young blood if we can't get our man! Come on Leeds!

Where's this? Can't find it anywhere?

Liamalfie

{Ed003's Note - Not surprised Liam}

1.) 03 Aug 2014 22:13:36
For the first time in what seems like a life time it feels like things are moving in the right direction and there is someone at the helm who knows what he is doing. Three cheers for Massimo Cellino.

LUFC MOT

{Ed003's Note - hip hip - this might end up being the most confusing thread ever lol.}

2.) 03 Aug 2014 22:46:53
I saw it earlier but it's run off now ;-)

3.) Doukara and Bianchi looked superb in Saturday

4.) I don't think we should be playing in green anymore either.

5.) Oh no Ed003; just when I thought things were beginning to make sense!! :)

{Ed003's Note - happy xmas NW}

6.) A fish

Viviani and his people head back to Rome tomorrow, they say deal isn't off yet but still no agreement! Can't see a way back now myself! He probably watched Tuesdays game then did a background check on hockaday!

Liamalfie

1.) 25 Jul 2014 21:10:21
It's like pulling teeth isn't it? Why does everything take an age and then some with us? I know supporters have wild mood swings but if the present mood is downbeat I'm not surprised .

Sharp didn't get on, feel sorry for the lad too when antenucci an doukara are firing. Thought sloth, bianchi, antenucci, doukara and cook was different level, huddersfield didn't offer much going forward but bellusci an co did well

Seemed a really nice genuine / down to earth bloke, but playing tonge murphy Austin ect along with formations and tactis that didn't oppose any threat. evidently it will get you the sack, billy sharps 'instinctive strikers' goal vs boro bailed him out abit I suppose! Good riddance hock

I'm still very worried about the 'goal scoring striker' situation! I really hope cellino has something up his sleeve in the next week/2week latest, he pulled us out of the **** financially but he could learn himself a harsh lesson about English football!
