After 50 odd years of watching leeds I conclude we are a basket case and was thinking we could form a basket case league, 4 teams for starters

Well another frustrating match, only one person to blame, Massimo, his experiment is not working, picking players who have no idea of our league and 2nd rate coaches is a disaster, will he learn before it's too late.
I hated league 1 and the thought of going back is almost too much to bear.
Still I am stuck with this lot no matter what!

1.) Well Love
I agree the thought of division 1 (AGAIN), is almost too much to bear. BUT we would already be there, with a points deduction if MC hadn't come along when he did. Massimo was nobody's ideal choice, but there just wasn't a realistic alternative at the time. The problem is we've been lied to and taken advantage of for a decade or so, and not MC or anyone else can put this right over night. Or even in one season. Clearly things are not working at the moment, but Massimo amongst all his faults has passion, is a football fan, and wants us to succeed. In the (hopefully) not too distant future he will either have started to put things right on the field, or sold the club, or been forced to sell the club, to someone who will. I for one, am prepared to put up with the suffering for what I believe is likely to be a better outcome than uncle Ken or GFH would ever have offered us - because all they were interested in was ££££. MC is bonkers, but I don't think he's going to want to be owner of a club that's going nowhere fast. It's definitely grit our teeth time

Defo true. The thought of dropping down is gut renching. I do think massimo's done more buying for the club then bates and gfh did in 11 yrs.
To be honest, I really like the man and he wouldn't look out of place in middle of kop. The man loves football and that's what they lacked.
Hope the most passionate fans in the world had a good crimbo. Hope these rumoured players striker and midfielder are done quick. Maybe Fabro given a chance. Mot4life

The real nightmare scenario would be relegation plus the FL finding some pretext to slap a points penalty. I hated League 1 too. Where's the fun in chanting 'who are you?' At some bunch of no hopers turning up at ER for their cup final?

What is wrong with us, we lead in the first half and collapse in the 2ndhalf time and again, any solutions?

Back from the game, getting fed up with the same problems, Bellusci is now becoming a liability, hardly had a shot on target, still cannot dominate a poor Charlton side, the effort is there but we are too light weight.
Thank god for Mowatt, 2 great strikes, I think we have to accept we ar a poor side, I think it's going to be a long hard season, still be back at ER on Saturday

1.) Not commenting as have not seen game so hones question, with current players and given redders bit of time do you not think it will improve? Results before under redders would suggest we have talent and ability to do well but that don't always mean it is going to happen. Did you see any hope with current crop of players? Would maybe one of two transfers in jan help if so what do you think?

I think most of the team has got potential, Warnock was outstanding and Cooper looked calm, Mowatt was great, Adryan and Antenucci can play, cook and Bianchi were not very involved and Sam is still nowhere near his best.
We need some bite in the middle and a proper goal scorer in January.
We can play good football, far better tan in the last couple of years but we are light weight.

Mowatt is becoming quite the goal scoring theat from midfield which is worth its weight in gold. love cook and in time think he could be really speical. Also love annucit and adryan but they need bit of steel alongside them. Not impressed with Sam for a while and think warnock has been our player of the year so far, yes he might be limited but is putting in a shift and he was a player that nearly made a world cup team and is showing why this season (even if he is older so of course not as quick as he was). So as an overview think we are going the right way! MOT

What will not happen is that GFH will allow anything like administration, if they did they would loose all their investment, I know banks are a bit thick but not that thick!
It's all a stand off and all about money, sadly we do not count and the club is just an asset
