Well, that’s it, game over. Phillips being sent off is just the cherry on top. Bye bye promotion hopes, would’ve been nice but Radz’ bottom line matters more than the fans.

Let’s not let mb off the hook either my bet if him getting sacked before end of window is looking a great shout now. place in August.

2.) 18 Jan 2020 15:01:32
Radz is milking the club it's his cash cow

. The takeover speculation is just that. speculation ( instigated by Radz) £80 million? . no chance . no buyers

. Leeds will get worse in the next 2 years under Radz and Orta . mid table at best.

14 Jan 2020 09:00:12
Leeds, Leeds are falling apart again!

I've lost faith. Radz wants to try to do this on the cheap and not try the hardest that he can to get us up. So Leeds will get what they deserve. Adams won't join, and we'll end up with a second striker that is worse than both Roofe and Eddie were.

We should have kept Pontus and Roofe. But our board are so incompetent, they can't discuss things like adults with their best centre back and send money on keeping their best striker here. We should have made all the same signings but kep our players that got us to third last seson.

MBTN_MOT

1.) 14 Jan 2020 09:23:25
Roofe ran his contract down because he wanted a new challenge we didn’t sell him. Stats show we performed worst and conceded more goals when janson was on the pitch for us. And who are all the other players we should have kept?

2.) 14 Jan 2020 09:25:04
But remember everyone. We’re not dicking about with the play offs this year! 🤡.

3.) 14 Jan 2020 10:21:28
What part of Roofe didn't run his contract down Martyn are you not understanding?
Roofe was in his last year and was sold for £6 million, he was still a Leeds player in the last year of his contract.

4.) 14 Jan 2020 11:34:39
Or lose him for nothing Chris. Let’s weight it up now £6 mill or nothing mmmmmm tough decision for a buisness man that on in it.

5.) 14 Jan 2020 11:36:45
Martyn you keep 'ramming down our throats ' the same incorrect nonsense about Roofe's contract. truly clueless.

6.) 14 Jan 2020 11:47:55
i can see what people are saying about roofe, but lose him for nothing and go up (like with did with bamford) might of been a good call. if we went up would he of stayed

pontus was as bad a sale as we have ever made. he was first choice with bartley not cooper for a reason, he is an international (cooper can't even make jock team) for a reason, he has been linked with prem for a reason and brentford have a better defensive record than us for a reason. if we don't go up i will put it largley down to losing ponuts and not replacing him (white should of been for bartley coming in for cooper not pontus)

then look at veria the muscle in midfeild we maybe needed. he is the england international how much could of MB improved him?

7.) 14 Jan 2020 11:50:19
. £ 6 million or £170 million on premiership promotion Martyn . hmm yes genius.

8.) 14 Jan 2020 11:53:02
And £3 million of that £6 million was wasted on loan for Eddie. brilliant.

9.) 14 Jan 2020 12:20:07
But yet the £35,000 a week we were paying Eddie during the loan on top of the loan fee couldn’t have gone to giving Roofe the contract he wanted.

A back three of Pontus, Cooper and White would win us this league by a country mile. Pontus was a great defender, you can be in denial all you like but there’s a reason Brentford are right on our tail.

As for other players we should have kept, there’s no reason we should have sold Pearce considering the issue at left back at the minute, as well as Halme and Wilks who would have been, if anything, decent cover. And selling Odour to me is an absolute mystery, he looked like the most likely player to break into the first team next. Fantastic dynamic driving full back.

The people that run us are far better than anything that has come before. But they are still not trying their best to get us promoted. They’re trying to do it in the cheapest way possible, squeezing every pound out of our promotion that they can.

We won’t get Adams, I doubt we’ll even get Poveda. We are falling apart again because our owners cannot be bothered to learn and act on their mistakes last year. It is a repeat of last year all over again.

10.) 14 Jan 2020 12:22:42
Hmmm let’s weigh it up now. Having two strikers now or having one striker. Hmmm tough decision for a team that wants to be promoted that on in it.

Agreed Viduka.

11.) 14 Jan 2020 13:06:56
No Martyn I am addressing your statement not the potential after effects of it,
Again you incorrectly stated roofe ran down his contract and left for free, 1 season remaining +£6 million are the facts here, not a bosman and a free transfer .

{Ed002's Note - €6M not £.}

12.) 14 Jan 2020 13:45:07
Excellent posts MBTN . you have summed it up perfectly.

13.) 14 Jan 2020 13:46:24
So you know for definite that if we had kept him we would have gone up mystic meg? You may think you can see into the future but let’s be realistic pal you can’t. It disturbs me how you can call yourself fans when all you do is pull the club to pieces. I’d be 100% behind them if they were playing Sunday league football.

14.) 14 Jan 2020 14:02:46
Your starting to get sort of personal viduka, is that the bully in you coming out? Agree with me or I’ll insult you.

15.) 14 Jan 2020 15:06:13
Lol Martyn whatever.

16.) 14 Jan 2020 16:05:25
What are our problems now Martyn? They are lack of firepower upfront and lack of cover at centre back and arguably lack of good options at left back.

These things can be, at least partially, solved with the additions of Roofe, Pontus and Pearce. But we haven’t got them because Radz is not interested in guaranteeing promotion if he is going to make a smaller profit. Always stating that’s FFP is this giant overhead when Derby can get away with having a third party pay a player’s wage. It’s all excuses to not put their hands in their pockets.

But remember Martyn, we’re not dickng about with the play offs this year.

Does Noel Whelan ever shut up? He's been wanting on about Ben White saying he's better than Joe Gomez and Liverpool should sign him. Maybe Leeds would be able to get him upon promotion if everyone just shut their trap and let him and us get on with winning football matches.

MBTN_MOT

1.) 04 Dec 2019 14:23:18
Agree mbtn.

2.) 04 Dec 2019 17:25:20
I think PL clubs probably rely on their scouting reports rather than the word of Whelan. That being said he is a gobsh***.

3.) 04 Dec 2019 18:13:55
If this is what Whelan has been saying he's obviously not playing with a full deck of playing cards ♠️♥️♦️♣️.

4.) 04 Dec 2019 20:10:08
Noel Whelan rank awful player and gob person. send him to Coventry ( again)

5.) 06 Dec 2019 08:51:37
Quite like Noel myself. Very entertaining.

Well, at least we're building a consistent home performance. Which is to dominant a game and not be able to put away easy chances to give the other team a late goal. Boosting their confidence and making them possibly go into a bit of good form.

If Costa and Nketiah do not start the next game, Bielsa really has to be questioned as to why. If Costa was starting, he would be able to create far better chances than Harrison and Eddie would put those away far more consistently.

Derby were the worst team we have played all season, yet they can show up and have us hand them a point. This is the same old sh! t as last season. We have a losers mentality. And it's showing. I've had enough of saying "we should have been 3 or 4 up by half time". That's a losers mentality. It doesn't matter what "should" be when you're talking about results. And we have, and I'm going to say it, bottled it again.

MBTN_MOT

1.) 21 Sep 2019 22:23:53
Correct MBTN.

2.) 22 Sep 2019 00:18:42
You have to put your chances away to win games. Was not going to post anything as every homE game is like groundhog day. Some will defend Bubs by saying if we had done this or that and if this had happened we would have won, we did not. So its not okay. Yes i think Bubs football philosophy is great and last season doubted if we had the players to make the most of it. This year we have the players sat on the bench. let's save Eddie for when they are tired routine did not work today and will not work against the better teams with good managers. You put the team out who are on form and likely to win you the game, Harrison and Bam are not cutting it for all the work they put in. Teams love coming to ER.

3.) 22 Sep 2019 00:58:32
agree what is annoying is you can see it coming as the game is being play. i won money again today as i put money on derby to draw on 70 minutes it was just obivious and so leeds.

24 Aug 2019 14:46:09
Can anyone give us a link for the game?

MBTN_MOT

1.) 24 Aug 2019 14:54:22
If anyone knows a good steaming site in general then I’d appreciate it as the one I use a lot isn’t showing the Leeds game and the other one got shut down by the losers who run Sky.

{Ed001's Note - hesgoals?}

2.) 24 Aug 2019 15:14:13
That’s great, thanks Ed001.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome.}

Nah MM, there are release clauses that can activate if certain conditions are met. Some Premier League sides place relegation release clauses in their players' contracts so that they can leave for a certain fee if the team goes down.

You don’t negotiate that with the player. That’s something you negotiate with their next club. Unless he’s getting part of the transfer fee. Don’t believe this. Not to say he won’t sign a new deal but the sell on clause thing is definitely wrong.

It would have if he had pounced before RBL did and apparently we were interested. Once again, Orta and Radz letting us down.
