Well, we can spin it any which way we like boys, but that was embarrassing shyte. The reason the Revie era team were so successful was that they all had fire in their bellies. most of this lot have a barely smouldering ember. The youngsters were the best of the bunch - Bamba, Wootton etc were dire. Evans must be nervous after that shambolic display.

Does anyone know if we have a sell-on clause for Kasper Schmeichel? A Mank mate of mine reckons he's the preferred option if and when De Gea goes to Real Madrid. Could be worth a fat wedge if we have, seeing as he's doing so well for the Prem leaders.

I see Evans is making a strong case in support of Doukara. Well, the lad's not done too badly lately, but he'd improve even more if he lost some weight snd got a sprint coach. a bit too slow and ponderous at the mo'.

To be fair the Douk has stepped up and played well lately, we could do with a speed striker to feed off his hold up play.

You mean Adryan. He was only in loan with us from Corinthians, the Brazillian version of Europes Barcelona.
He is now playing for FC Nantes in France and is performing well. I still believe we should of brought him.

I understand he has played 12 games and has yet to score a goal. Not exactly making a great impression on what is a league which is generally viewed as poor in quality.

Hmm. Wootton has improved from abysmal to average and if anybody's offering us £2 mill for Bamba we should snatch their hand off. Question - why do practically all our players look so damned slow and lethargic all the time? Just exactly what does the fitness coach do with them? Every team we play looks fitter than us.

Don't these all fly in the face of what Evans said a couple of days ago about Leeds signings over the last few years never being good enough to enable us to challenge for promotion? I agree with you Shaggy - but one thing that really turns me off players is clubs being held as a hostage to fortune - in this case Bridcutt (only wants to stay if the club "matches his ambitions") and if not, he would "love to return to Brighton. " He's done us a pretty decent job, and taking into account the squad we have I'd prefer to keep him, but he is no Speedy/ GaryMac/ Batty/ Strachan, and if his heart is not in the club, well, he knows where the M1 is.

Agree with you Danum - no public criticism. it will hardly encourage the lad. I also think that SE has distinct favourites like Wootton and Doukara. not sure why, as both are incredibly slow and Doukara needs to go to Weightwatchers and drop some timber. He might actually get to the ball first then in the 50/ 50s!
