That proves that Radz although building for the future was unhappy with our progress, it’s been awhile coming but it is the right decision, now we need someone who demands respect and does not allow players to take the proverbial! I do feel sorry for TC and I would like to thank him for his commitment but it’s a results business and it just wasn’t happening! Onwards and upwards MOT

1.) 04 Feb 2018 22:25:41
There still remains the problem of Victor Orta, whoever fills TCs shoes has that obstacle ahead.

18 Jan 2018 20:58:41
Well £4.5M shows intent, I’m not overly excited but I only know what I’ve been told by Boro supporters, so as someone posted below, he needs to be given a chance so here’s hoping he is just what we need, another teams cast offs can end up being a gem elsewhere! So if this signing is anything to go by then we might be in for a really big surprise striker! Very positive move though. MOT

1.) 19 Jan 2018 02:51:07
Agree Woody. Price is quite high but he is experienced and appears to be able to create. May be just what we need.

2.) 19 Jan 2018 08:05:03
Sounds like Bridcut when he was on loan kiwi. Woody old lad your right as well. Look at bamba now at Cardiff? They love him.

3.) 19 Jan 2018 09:36:45
Personally think he is a good signing. Not a cast off in my opinion just a player who in a Pulis side won’t see the ball as his sides bypass midfield. So basically we have a player who doesn’t fit in to long ball style of play which for me shows the way TC wants to play.

17 Jan 2018 18:09:26
Forshaw having a medical as we speak! Don’t know what to make of this one, I’m concerned that we have bought another midfielder that has been out of form since 2016 and costing us £2M, happy days for Boro me thinks!

1.) 17 Jan 2018 19:40:15
Mikewoody, can’t get me Head round this one, mad 😡

2.) 17 Jan 2018 20:05:23
Whitewoman, it's easy to fathom. We need another midfielder numbers wise with Klich's obvious imminent departure. We also require more British engine room in there. Okane more interested by his humanist wife, Phillips is tired, RV injured.

3.) 17 Jan 2018 20:27:35
I’m the same as Whiteman George, I understand what you are saying but why him, we had someone very similar who in my opinion was better which is Bridcutt! Surely we have enough choice in midfield and it would of been better spent going towards a proven striker! Also Ulloa looks like he’s on his way to Villa on loan, he would of been a good signing, so would of Grabbon, i mean why are we spending £2M on a player who is short of games and not at his best when we could put that money towards players like Grabbon! Why do we always seem to buy players that no one else wants, we never seem to be one of a few named teams in for certain players! There are no interested teams in our buys because of a bloody good reason!

4.) 17 Jan 2018 20:52:43
Hes a good player. Who were you expecting lads? A new striker is on the way also.

5.) 17 Jan 2018 22:21:14
Come on guys, we have been asking for players with championship experience now we go out and get one he is being slated as second rate. Think some need a reality check, maybe we should persevere with klich! Let's at least give the guy a chance before passing judgement, yes he may once have been brought by orta, but don't let this cloud your judgement.

6.) 17 Jan 2018 22:48:29
Oh well. Sign a player, and start bitching. let's just see what he delivers, first, then we can all twatwaffle full throttle if he doesn't . Give the man a chance first though.

7.) 18 Jan 2018 07:26:24
Reports today that this is a done deal and the general consensus from the press is that this is a good move for us so I'm willing to give him a try - just hope he is reasonably fit, although clearly won't be match fit as yet.

8.) 18 Jan 2018 13:30:43
If Ulloa is off to Villa, they might not bid for Marriott, who I think would be a better prospect. MM

17 Jan 2018 15:54:43
Adam Forshaw £2M from Middlesbrough! Really? Orta needs to give his head a shake!

1.) 17 Jan 2018 18:49:05
He took him from Brentford to boro, he has links to a lot of players, sure he tried to get us gustede from boro when we sold wood, after also taking him there.2m sounds a lot, boro fans think it's a good deal for them, time will tell if it is for us. 🤞

2.) 17 Jan 2018 19:43:31
Orta must be on the take, the amount he’s given out bung bung bung happydays for someone’s bank account.

17 Sep 2017 22:38:24
I can't believe that some of you are arguing after one defeat! I hope the players are not behaving like this or we will be in the crap! Whiteman while I agree with your tired point, you must remember some have been on international duty and not on months off as you put, Notts is entitled to his opinion and in fairness I also understand his point, but come on guys one loss and carnage, its not as bad as it seems, we are still top and it will give us the reality check we may of needed to make us into Champions just look at Newcastle and their results last season, especially at the beginning and they won the league! If it means we lose a few bad games to be champions then I will take that! In TC I trust. MOT

1.) 18 Sep 2017 08:33:52
Woody I agree with you but no way should they be tired at this level they are paid to be fit and only 180 minutes work per week and we use this as an excuse, one loss dose not bother me we are going to have them, be it the manager got his plan wrong or they did not put a shift in or we were beten by a better side is all ok but not tired.

2.) 18 Sep 2017 13:28:43
The fact that you think a professional footballer only works 180 minutes in a week, tells me exactly how much you know about the game. They are paid to be fit, true, but there are a million physical reasons for a player to not be deemed fit, let alone the multitude of other reasons that make up the term 'fitness'. They are assessed constantly on their actual fitness, health, well-being, as well as mental health, underlying health problems etc., in order to perform their jobs. They are athletes, not darts players. Millwall were a better side on the day, that's going to happen every now and again, and they have scored a fair number this season, plus it is a hard place to go. TC is adapting to the league, the players are finding their feet. Should we not be giving it until at least Christmas, before we all cry that the sky is falling?

3.) 18 Sep 2017 15:33:47
Behave they play to games a week mate that make 180 minutes just in case you can't work it out it's 90 minutes one game and 90 in the other = 180 just goes to show what you know🤐

4.) 18 Sep 2017 15:38:01
Who on earth is crying sky is falling oh look 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

There are some good managers out of a job at the moment, maybe something Radz should be looking at! Just watching the Notts County v Coventry game, an absolutely disgraceful decision disallowing Notts goal for offside when he was well on, and then allowing Coventry’s goal when it was offside! those decisions could cost them a trip to Wembley! Coventry’s McNulty is a good goal scorer, 28 for the season! There will be s few clubs watching him.

1.) 18 May 2018 22:59:01
Cov have got an even better striker than McNulty, can't think of his name now but we were scouting him till he did his cruciate.

14 May 2018 10:41:29
Why oh why are we still entertaining Paul Rockbottom? He apparently wants his ex Barnsley pal Andy Yiadam (I think that’s how it’s spelt) hopefully as rumour suggests, our board are not in agreement which hopefully will lead to his resignation or sacking! We really have to make a statement of our intentions before the World Cup, it will be to late after it and far to late six games into the new season! Come on Radz, do something to get back in our good books, sack Rockbottom, sack Orta and get us up that league so we have something to be proud of, I’m sick of going in to work and getting my ear chewed about how shite we are! Give us weekends to look forward to and a team we can be proud of, that’s not to much to ask for in exchange for our hard earned money, is it? 👍👍

1.) 14 May 2018 12:28:23
Unfortunately Orta is going nowhere and Heckingbottom will do as he is told because that is why he was recruited in the first place. After watching Barnsley play against us last month there is not one player from their squad I would take.

2.) 14 May 2018 16:29:43
Radz hasn't got a clue if he sticks with Orta and Heck the only way is down Orta loves buying 6 foot injury prone players that don't score goals from foreign lower league clubs for inflated prices and on ridiculous contracts Jaap Stam now favourite for Lees job won 1 out of last 18 right up Radzs street go get him Radz an ruin our season before it starts

3.) 14 May 2018 20:40:31
Mikewoody agree mate, unfortunately can’t see anything positive coming any time soon, think we will be in a dog fight next season.

4.) 14 May 2018 21:27:55
We're doooooomed! Doomed I say!

5.) 14 May 2018 22:22:55
It’s becoming laughable now isn’t it, I remember reading Whiteman posts early Pre season last year, and I was thinking he was not a Leeds fan and a wind up merchant, but he was true to his word, he spoke out and some didn’t like it but he was spot on. Brightwhite, one of the most optimistic Leeds fan early doors and even still near the end of the season, but even he gave up just like me, now today we are all in the same mindset, hoping for something to relight our hope, but in truth I think it’s going to be a hard season, I hope I’m wrong and we fly high but., . !

6.) 14 May 2018 23:13:21
Yeah and I didn't get a hard time for speaking the truth.

11 May 2018 00:55:55
Martyn, I’m with you mate and in answer to the thumbs down brigade, I’ve never thumbs down any post in all the time I’ve been on here! Your posts are very true and honest mate, I can’t stand what’s happening at ER, Radz trying to raise money by selling shares, what on Earth is going on? Where’s the return from 30,000 plus nearly every home game?

Too many players on our books that shouldn’t be, and one big wage he pays should be stopped straight away and that’s Orta’s! Either Radz knows something we don’t about getting promoted or indeed his is a fantasist! Kind find much to be positive about for next season, you know we have only been finished a week and we have had The Myanmar scandal now Radz is saying he has to sell to raise money, FFS, will somebody give us Leeds supporters something to cheer about, after all without us what would you do!

1.) 11 May 2018 07:40:28
It has always been the 6 million dollar question why nobody with dosh has ever fancied taking Leeds on. Unless Radz gets his finger out he will get us out of this Division, unfortunately the wrong way.

2.) 11 May 2018 10:55:01
I think LUFCfev raises a good point about the real money owners staying away from Leeds. On paper, one city club, solid fan base but the real money has gone elsewhere. Until that changes, it’s going to be about spending wisely, growing the youngsters and finding the right manager who can work with what he has. That is definitely a work in progress! Hopefully the investment in the youngsters is and will produce some stars and the good thing about a 5 year plan is you can learn and adapt it in the early years. So we shall see.

Can’t see this coach going anywhere until he has had the first ten games of the new season. By then we will see what those spending our cash have learnt from the first 12 months. Let’s hope! On a lighter note, good to see Pablo still training at his local club, just up the road from me. Fed up with the baby crying?

09 May 2018 17:04:54
I tell you what Radz and Orta should do. make a swap for our players and bring to Leeds from Myanmar their whole team of all stars that have just beat us 2-1, leave Rockbottom there as well and bring their manager back! That’s next season sorted!

1.) 09 May 2018 17:41:47

08 May 2018 07:41:00
I can’t believe that West Brom have not appointed Darren Moore as manager, and they are still actively looking for a big name! He has won 3 and drawn 2 out of five matches which is better than Pardew did, I would welcome Moore with open arms at Elland Road!

1.) 08 May 2018 09:28:29
To be honest, why not? his record is unbelievable and he's been very good with young players in the past. plus he looks like he knows how to help alioski bulk up a bit.

2.) 08 May 2018 21:11:26
Darren Moore has done an incredible job galvanising that squad that couldn't even buy a point previously much like Nigel Pearson did a number of years ago and they didn't give him the job either. Moore deserves it and it is a no brainer to me that he should be given the chance.

Absolutely with you on that Brightwhite, mega crap Saturday, my bird don’t want to go out because the wedding wedding of the year is on every bloody channel, the football is as you say a no no because of the two most hated teams playing, Castleford are stuffing Leeds at Rugby League so it’s Britain’s Got No Talent I suppose! I’m so bored!

And once again spot on Mezzer, I really like your direct from the heart brutal honesty, just think on when we all post the same messages of congratulations on promotion or we are playing brilliantly, our players are fantastic as everyone is playing for the shirt, sell out games! Now if only Carlsberg made posts on Leeds banter! and as the Beach Boys sang “Wouldn’t it be nice”! Happy Days!
