Cracking result tonight though unbelievable as we were well and truly battered for most of the game! Pontus and Green outstanding, our defending did us proud. 3 points against Wolves is a must, ignore what Wendies and Fulham do we control our own fortunes.

Can we get the 20 - 23 points which are hopefully enough for the playoffs? Here's to our 'hiccup ' ending soon and back to business.

Why isn't Charlie Taylor getting a game, not saying it would have changed today's result but just curious!

He is injured. Not due to return until March.

How if your a leeds fan can you not know Taylor is injured? . monk gives an update on him at his weekly press conferences . odd.

Don't get so frustrated, I'm definitely a Leeds United fan, since 1968 so. Thought the club may have wanted us to believe he was injured then announce he had been sold in the window just past.
These things happen!

Here's to promotion from all us Leeds fans in Northumberland.

Disappointing loss last night which was of our own making as Brighton are not as good as us. Great we showed lots of spirit and effort, didn't fold after going down to ten men which would have happened last season. Monk is the best thing that's happened to Leeds for yonks, his coaching nouse and understanding of his squad and tactics is for all to see. Would like us to bring a keeper, defender, and either Zac Clough or Rhodes in to turn more of our attacking opportunity into goals as it is more clinical finisher that will get us promoted. Credit to Wood and his efforts so far this season. Feeling well opptomistic for promotion and things generally.

The thing that struck last night was how Brighton look dangerous going forward and even when we are winning games we just don't look as dangerous and even though Wood has scored enough goals he never looks dangerous.

Very accurate MM, I'm guilty of having posted, thought, and said every point you make above.

Got to try and stay grounded I will.

Didn't feel impressed by Phillips performance when he came on, I know he doesn't get much game time but is there a reason for this. He doesn't cut it for me, dives into tackles like a tank, think he needs to calm down and stop trying too hard to impress. I get jittery when he is on the pitch as like Cooper, he's a liability. Yes in fairness he is young with much to learn.

Take your comments respectfully Notts and BIGE, I struggle to see why managers/ coaches play players out of position. Mowatt was a player who impressed and not so long ago was more than coping with playing regularly in championship. Somethings gone wrong. Good players don't suddenly become poor without reason.
Roofe was bought because he scored goals playing in his natural position of striker, why play him out wide where he is not as effective? If we needed someone to play out wide left in a forward position we should have bought a player suited to that role.

It's great we are winning games, I hope it continues and MC let's the team and GM get on with things, .

Is it he knows his best position and yet his last 5 or so managers persist in playing him out wide.? Must affect his confidence and motivation?
