Hey Leodis, Cheers for your reply. I have seen the kid Ideguchi play in Japan and also watched him tear Australia apart in the Asian cup. I know that this football is not as strong as the Championship but the kid is a class above where he was playing. He has a good head on his shoulders and a willingness to work. Will never be the worst signing and I'm sure he will surprise, I hope so anyway

Aus club football is bad. Has improved slightly over last year or so at same time national team has gone backward.

Derby make the playoffs on 75 points. Anyone guess how many points we finished on last season, YUP 75 points. What a difference a season makes ! For me the loss of Bartley and Ayling from our defence and not having a decent goal scorer like we had with Wood was the difference. Address these areas and next year will be so much better. Personally I am so glad that Foreshaw is part of the team and could be a very good skipper in the future. We need a midfield general that can guide the team. Would like to see Klich back and given a fair crack in that midfield. I have seen a fair bit of the kid Ideguchi and he too could be very good for us. Hopefully we will get a look at what Tyler Roberts can offer Great to see the young kids get a look in but not rushed, Congrats to the juniors who had a good year especially compared to recent years, I like the looks of Sam Dalby, he looks like he could develop into something special. Much has been said about Heckinbottom but he did inherit a side that wasn't travelling to well. I think he should be judged on his performance after he has had some influence on the team he wants to work with. I'd be interested to hear how some of the faithful feel about old man Warnock getting another side promoted, he did get a rubbishing didn't he! We have the bones of a good side, all we need now is a big heart and a lot of guts and brothers we will get there, Keep the faith Just a few views from an old tragic MOT

Well said, one of the better posts I've seen in a while :)

2.) 07 May 2018 13:38:42
Warnock was useless for us. Pretty much spot on with the rest of the post. Mind you Ayling was having a bad season before injury. But Bartley and woods def missed

3.) 07 May 2018 14:24:11
Well said Snowy. My only question is how you have seen a fair bit of Ideguchi. From what I can gather he has been kept in a locked room since January.

4.) 07 May 2018 14:58:18
Think keeper or lack of until BPF accounted significant loss of points too, otherwise great post. Re, Colin he’s the pantomime villain isn’t he, but whatever our opinions he’s record is now the best ever for getting teams promoted. So well done Colin I say 👏🏻

How will he influence the team with orta making his signings

6.) 07 May 2018 20:10:34
Heck put Pennington and O'Kane on yesterday, two players who should never be seen in a Leeds shirt. If he thinks they are a better choice than the kids, he is not fit to be at Leeds. Send him back to his beloved Barnsley.

Great start to the year and as excited as everyone what the future can hold. Surprised at the differences players like Cooper, O'kane and Dallas have been under a new Boss. Perhaps playing with new quality players have brought out their real potential. Loving what Saiz is doing, great work to bring such quality to our club. The squad appear to be confident, happy and in good head space now after some great results. The amount of yellow cards indicate the greater discipline that has come with the teams improvement. Can this be the year? Looking from afar one has plenty of hope and each game cannot come quick enough MOT boys keep on singing

Thinking the same yesterday about what tc has given some of the players that monk sucked dry. Tc got to know the squad quickly and got rid of the one dimentional players and kept ones that could adapt. Prob his only mistake was sacko. But that's ok. Its great to see coops okane dallas roofe and phillips all playing so much better. We have strength in depth in board management scouts and players.

2.) 13 Sep 2017 17:10:05
I did always think cooper got grief. I know he made mistakes but he's a championship player not champions league standard, factored in with the fact he is young for a defender always made me think he was going to end up the scapegoat like Tom lees. I'm happy for him because he does seem a very good pro.

3.) 13 Sep 2017 19:23:31
I agree about Coops, always admired the guy for giving it his all, just hoping his injury is not too bad.

4.) 13 Sep 2017 20:30:41
I wouldn't blame TC for Sacko, i don't think he had much of a say in that. what is good is that he quickly identified Sacko is struggling and took him out of the limelight. I still think he will improve in time and the additional quality we now have will give him that time.

5.) 14 Sep 2017 16:36:08
Hope Sacko is getting a good view of Alioski and Saiz and getting the hint that he is allowed to pass the ball :)

Watching the game in Oz, I feel that Woody is doing the same thing, Has scored plenty but tonight he doesn't want to create to much, wanting the ball to come to him. Someone posted the other day that they thought we were in a slump, how right you are son, how could we let Warnock come back to ER and steal all the points. Definitely lack a player who has a decent 30 yard shot on them, no menace from outside the box, I suppose today there was none inside the box either. Very disappointed today MOT

Is there anyone else out there that is glad to see Charlie Taylor still playing for us. Understand that he has offers to go to the Prem but still think our defence is better with him in it, every game is a bonus for us. From what I've read I am not entirely convinced he wants to go and that it is his agent trying to make some money from him, how often does that happen. Monk still picks him in the team, tells me he has a decent opinion of the lad. Thoughts?

I hope he stays now. Unless we have been doing a bit of business on the sly it would be too late to lose him at this stage. If we were selling him, then we should have 6 weeks or so ago. Our defence has been pretty reliable the past two league games, so I wouldn't want that to change in the next week. I listened to his interview and I'm not so sure if he wants to stay or not. He said things like he trusts his agent to do the best for him and he kept referring to us (Leeds) as them, so take from that what you will.

2.) 24 Aug 2016 11:48:21
I think Charlie does want to go. He handed a transfer request in for one and his latest comments suggest that if he stays this season it won't be down to him and he'll definitely be off at the end of the season.

For me, I would prefer for him to go now and sign the young left back from Walsall before anyone else does. Taylor will play well enough whilst he is with us but won't tear any trees up either as he's got one eye on a big move. A new face with a future at Leeds to play for would possibly be better in the bigger scheme of things.

3.) 24 Aug 2016 13:25:32
im not really bothered if he stays or goes. he will be off in Jan if not now I reckon so we may as well cash in. not sure how much he will put in for us if he stays as he clearly wants to go elsewhere.

4.) 24 Aug 2016 14:01:28
We still get money for him when he goes so may as well use him for the season.

5.) 24 Aug 2016 14:37:03
Wex

Not if we keep him til January then he moves abroad end of season. Then we've turned 7m into 250k.

I know he's likely to stay in England this stage of his career but it ain't worth the risk.

Sell! Sell! Sell!

6.) 24 Aug 2016 15:43:48
JT

Taylor saying he trusts his agent to do what's best for him is just a coded way of saying he has to obey his agent/ handler else incur his wrath and a court claim.

Cellino, sell already.

7.) 24 Aug 2016 23:47:20
FFS We should have let him go months ago and had Rico Henry signed sealed and delivered. He doesn't want to be at Leeds! Get the money, invest in Rico, swoop for Nahki Wells and another CB, get rid of Bamba and tell Taylor FORK OFF!

8.) 25 Aug 2016 03:15:03
Love your posting style Hooks. How do you really feel about Taylor though?

9.) 25 Aug 2016 07:06:20
Don't think he's sure how he feels about Taylor.
Very much on the fence about him.

Realistically, how many games is he going to start, with all the new boys there it won't be many. We will miss his height but by all accounts that is all we will miss. Time to cash in
