I know he's only 19 and hasn't had much game time but can anyone tell me what's so special about Grot? Every time I've seen him near the ball I thought he was tripe.

I agree appers to be just a big lump right now, but were some layoffs that he made gives me hope.

2.) 20 Sep 2017 19:55:41
have to agree didn't set the world alight but what I did see gave me hope that if he is a good learner and we are patient he could be leading our line in a few years.

Loving the new signings but our wage bill must be ENORMOUS now 😕

Yes but we are saving money by owning ER. And fact was our first team squad was not big enough. You need at least 20 first teamers to give yourself options and be able to rest players. We relied heavily on young ones filling in and i am sure some will be moving out to balance the costs. And a lot of the time we were playing people out of position because we had no back up.

2.) 14 Jul 2017 10:06:32
We need competition for places, it's a 48 game season minimum. High earners like Murphy and Bellusci will be off the wage bill as well.

3.) 14 Jul 2017 10:48:12
Think Sg you have hit the nail on the head last year our midfield was are undoing apart from the defence constantly playing the ball back to green . Hopefully we sign a left back and c/h minimum and depending on the strength of what we have signed as to be honest I have not heard or seen most of are transfers, we can actually rotate are squad better.

4.) 14 Jul 2017 15:57:33
Agree about def and brid being too defensive But we need to shell 4-6 players

OK, I don't understand why it's taking ages for the news to break on the official site, but Leeds have appointed me as the new head coach.

Before you all start bemoaning me and start calling me the next Hockaday, allow me to detail me rather impressive football credentials.

As a player, I played 1 competitive match where I got a concussion in the first 20 minutes. An impressive playing career as I'm sure you'll agree.

As a manager/coach, I've never managed a football team and have no real tactical knowledge, and I don't hold my coaching badges.

In my 'Day Job', I manage a team of 4 people working in 'I.T.', which is a bit like football (sort of) .

So as your new manager / coach and hero, I'll ask you to get behind me and chant my name for the full 90 minutes, and all the way to Division 1!

(So bored)

OK here we go hockaday the 2nd, hockaday the 2nd, hockaday the 2nd!!! Naaaa it's got no ring to it. Also they ain't announced you yet because I only pulled out of the running after my tea tonight.

2.) 14 Jun 2017 00:14:54
Sack softie i say. He said me instead of my. No plan b either.

3.) 14 Jun 2017 07:23:02
Harsh Ausman, but fair (I guess).

4.) 14 Jun 2017 07:48:34
I say keep him. He's the best coach we've had for about four weeks! 😁

5.) 14 Jun 2017 09:25:43
That maybe danum but just don't like the look of the geezer!
Looks dishonest. Shady. You know. Thick even.
Obviously has a great football career to brag about and suitable managerial experience.
Strikes me as a poor mans warnock.
Get rid i say.

Not like you to pull out Marty

I'm glad it's not just me that thinks Doukara is poor. He's a walking brick wall which can be useful at times, but I don't think he offers much to the team. Happy with the win though

His pass to Phillips for the second was world class though.

2.) 04 Mar 2017 12:04:38
Think the last 2 games he's done quite well, kept s lot of other good players out the team, he's our second top scorer and we just need to be positive with what we're getting st the minute. MOT

Wow, they're all over us like a bad rash, but we're holding them off so far! Not pretty football from Leeds but keep it up boys.

MC has said he won't be selling anyone in January, which is an interesting statement. SB would then become relatively worthless to Leeds, but will MC care? Probably not. I do think we need to replace Pearson though, but who??

I agree DG, I don't like MC's mega-gob either, but I quite like him as a person, and I respect the positives he's done, and continues to do. I think we've known for a while that SB will be leaving. Best of luck to him, although he may be getting bad advice from a greedy agent?
Now, what about replacing Pearson.?

I don't think OLeary was suggesting that things didn't need fixing (I would use the word 'adjusting' rather than fixing as I don't think anything is essentially 'broken') . I think OLeary was simply making the point that TC had a dream start and people need to keep the faith. I for one agree with him. Once the adjustments have been made, we will be back to winning ways. TC just have to find another winning formula.

Utter rubbish. We're only 10 points above the relegation zone. We're screwed 😂
Obviously I'm just kidding. I'm loving the way we're playing at the moment

Indeed. The last time we spent this kind of money (£100m + since April) was under Peter Ridsdale and David O'Leary. Oh well, at least nothing bad came of the era :-P
