The results from the Millwall and Cardiff games show me that getting rid of Bridvutt was folly. We have a plethora of attacking and flair players but most of them seem lightweight when it comes to physical encounters. Vieira would help in these situations but we haven't replaced Bridcutt with a defensive midfielder. TC will have to rethink his selections for these kind of games as there will be plenty more to come. We are still doing well, it's a long season and defeats are inevitable. I try to keep on an even keel, not too carried away when we win, not too despondent if we lose. Onwards and upwards MOT.

1.) 28 Sep 2017 02:32:16
I liked Bridcutt, didn't do the pretty stuff but put in the dirty work when you needed it. Always felt, much like Bamba, that the captaincy left him trying to do too much and not focusing on playing his own game. For the fee we got I would have kept him.

2.) 28 Sep 2017 05:09:39
No no no no no no no no no NO! Viera. Berahdi. Both more than capable of playing his position. Bridcutt was a hindrance and a liability. Played our defence into trouble 80% of the time.

3.) 28 Sep 2017 08:26:46
sol Bamba showed you what idiots you are for selling him, the Leeds I knew use to be a physical side but now you have pretty footballers lmao, 1 bad mistake from Phillips and your team caved in lol weak and pathetic Leeds united who will do well to finish 7th again with your team of billy Elliots lol.

4.) 28 Sep 2017 08:31:58
It wasn't Phillips that slipped over. Well done with your spelling though. Did you have any help? Now, back to your crayoning and try to stay between the lines.

5.) 28 Sep 2017 11:13:23
FYI there's a lot of tricky trees that would bring bridcutt back immediately He's not doing that well for them Would I play him ahead of o Kane or Philips? Or vierra ? No & I'm a tactical genius

6.) 28 Sep 2017 14:12:56
Phillips lost the ball whilst he was divering on the ball for the first goal, your gk should be saving the second goal and the 3rd was Cardiff showing you how to play like men not boys, Leeds united along with the fans need to wise up and realise your a joke of a team, the Millwall game for instance was so one sided you had 0 shots on target lol. I just love how you lot actually think you have a better team than last season lol look at alioski he looks rubbish, yes he can skill but other than that he others very little v a physical team lol. Both Sheffield teams next for you lol another 2 loses for you I see lmao I'm loving it watching you Leeds fans get back to reality of being nothing but a average championship team lol.

7.) 28 Sep 2017 16:51:55
What a boring life you lead, if actually putting messages on to a team you dislike so much fan page is all you have to do with your days. Has your mum let you back on the internet after your quiet spell which seemingly coincided with all the games we were winning.

8.) 28 Sep 2017 19:00:52
No Davey iv been commenting but they don't get put on :) as you all should know by now I have my own opinion and the Leeds page isn't the only page I air my opinion on but definitely the most entertaining, iv not seen anything great about Leeds so far, you should be winning teams like Birmingham, Burton and Bolton but for some reason you all talked yourself up for winning rubbish teams and now your getting shown up by the better teams, even Ipswich played better but couldn't take there many chances. All you have done so far is win the teams you should be winning or teams that are a mess like forest and Sunderland, I'd say Ipswich are the only team you should be happy winning lol Wednesday and the blades will be looking forward to playing you because like iv said when a team puts abit of effort in you Leeds just collapse. Embarrassing Leeds united marching on to nowhere lol

9.) 28 Sep 2017 22:51:44
"Yes he can skill" Oh bless him, he's about 10 Has mummy allowed you another packet of stickers this week odeanoidea?

10.) 29 Sep 2017 07:31:06
It was Klich not Phillips who slipped and gave the ball away for the first goal.

11.) 29 Sep 2017 10:34:35
It was Philips mate. Who's your team then odea?

12.) 29 Sep 2017 12:41:48
It was definitely Klich. The commentator got it wrong. By the way odea is a Spurs fan. (You know that massive club that's won the title twice, the last time in 1961.) Christ I'm old and I wasn't even born then!

13.) 29 Sep 2017 15:21:34
Oh Dear Oh Dear, D- see me after class. You clearly have some ideas but express them without structure or cohesion. Please pay more attention to the " grammar for beginners " book you were given at the end of last term. Leeds like to beat teams or win against them, if you win a team, it's like a prize in the lottery or at the fairground. If you lose a team, it's very careless and difficult to do or no one likes you and you will lose your job! The theme for the next essay is, " playing at wembley when it's less than half full", please try harder!

{Ed001's Note - now that is an excellent reply! Well done Spanish I really enjoyed that comeback.}

14.) 29 Sep 2017 16:07:49
Odea odea . If you had taken time to read posts on this site you will not have made your posts . Deluded no, we all discuss are players on a game by game basis and although we do not always agree in every case most of are debates are in a friendly constructive tone. We all know that we are in the championship which in it's self is 2nd tier . Once written by the manager of are arch rivals Man Utd, "It would be great to see Leeds back in the premier league where they should be "Sir Alex Ferguson. This is because despite how are club has been run over the years are fans and fan base remain . Personally I hate to see any club go into administration or being run into the ground by owners who should never have been allowed near the club . But that's because I'm a mature adult !

15.) 29 Sep 2017 17:23:46
Hi all. As most of you know, I haven't been on this forum long, so I am not fully aware of the crack at times. Is odea odea that pr1ze pr1ck who supports Tottingham and talks faeces under so many different names that the Deed Poll Office can't keep up with him, or some other saddo whose team are so rubbish that he has nothing better to do than come on our site and bore us to tears, talking out of his crevis?

16.) 29 Sep 2017 18:11:27
Well said dogwise! It's a shame that this Troll has nothing better in his/ Her life than getting its kicks from trying to bait proper football fans. I've been around long enough to see our glory days and know that football seems to go around in cycles. So call big clubs in the prem have had their times in the lower leagues. If this thing of many names IS a Spurs fan then go forth and follow them.

17.) 29 Sep 2017 23:04:42
I am a spurs fan, yes and ive been loving the premiership football we play for years now not the dross you lot compete in lol, my club is a well run football club unlike your joke of a club lol, I love how you all say I'm sad for trolling yet your just as sad for coming on a site to write about Leeds instead of actually talking to eachother lol anyways as I was saying your a club who will forever be in the championship and playing rubbish like Burton and Bolton lol whilst Tottenham will always be a premiership team ;) not winning tittles as the competition is very strong and I know Tottenham's limits.

{Ed033's Note - Oh dear, it's leeds1988 / Swadlad28 / Lufc8800 / Leeds121 / Mrbean123 who used to pretend to be a disgruntled Leeds fan.

18.) 29 Sep 2017 23:12:02
Ah Tottenham Hotspur The club that serve no purpose but to merely exist That are required to play " the Spurs way" Which effectively means in a way that means they're not arsenal

19.) 30 Sep 2017 07:44:21
You really have a sad life odea, how disrespectful you really are to proper decent football followers. You have no right to call Bolton and Burton rubbish, you offend both these clubs, go away and do your history, Bolton have a proud footballing history and produced great players, Burton have gone from non league and are still creating their history. The fans of any team are the life blood and true fans follow through tough times and the glory. You say you are a Spurs fan but admit your team not winning titles as your not as strong as some other teams. You are slating us Leeds fans for wanting to get out of this dross as you call it, but you are happy with your team just making up the numbers because you are in the top league. You aren't a proper fan, you don't understand the game. Do yourself a favour stick to your PlayStation, ask mummy to buy you the new FIFA, it's out now.

20.) 30 Sep 2017 09:54:27
By the way odea, Radio talk sport this morning were doing a quiz about the five teams that have lost 300 matches or more in the premier league. Spurs were there with 316 matches to date in 5th position. Others like villa and Newcastle etc had been relegated or up and down, I guess this shows that as a Spurs fan you are use to your so called dross, even an authority on it. Just saying!

21.) 30 Sep 2017 13:00:00
Lol if spurs just exist then what does that say about Leeds struggling to get out of a shambolic league? Spurs win premiership class teams week in week out whilst I admit spurs ain't at the level of the Chelsea, city or united they are always challenging in the top 6 which is a far far better position to be in rather than constantly failing to get out of a joke league with joke teams. Oh and mezzer you call me sad yet your on here replying to me? Lol ironic really. Loving how you Leeds fans think your in a position to slag spurs of lmao where are you? Oh yeah in the championship being beat by Millwall lmao. Burton are my local club hence why I'm called swadlad lol bit of geography there for you lol. Burton are the whipping boys of the championship and you lot got all excited when you beat them 5-0 lol I seen your comments lol oh we look so much different from last year lmao says something when Leeds fans get excited about winning little Burton lol but then I suppose you don't have any decent teams in that poor league lol.

22.) 30 Sep 2017 13:01:21
Well said Mezzer. I'd rather be Leeds than a plastic PL fan anyday. Where would Spuds be without our academy? We may be deluded and rubbish, bean/odea/swadlad/88, but at least I can say I've seen us in the Champions League semi finals, something Spuds will never achieve. Lol.

23.) 30 Sep 2017 13:42:12
I replied to your post out of courtesy and hopefully to try and educate you as yes sadly you find gratification at trying to wind up other football fans. If you are (and I find it hard to believe) a true football fan, then why spend so much time and effort on an other teams site. It could be a backhanded compliment on your part. Banter is apart of football in this country but you really need to get out more. Now from the level of your posts I take it you are still of school age. Do yourself a favour get yourself a life or just grow up. But hang on you probably getting a little stuffy on, so await your next moronic dribble!

24.) 30 Sep 2017 13:51:29
Bolton were once a massive club and Burton are building and good luck to them . we want to beat every team do we hate the fans of the clubs, only the morons and that includes any fan of Leeds who misbehaves whether it involves violence, racism or any other issue of conduct. I often utilise a science called operate conditioning when helping people manage there dogs behaviour . I say science as it is proven, in a nut shell if your reward an animal at a point of behaviour there is every chance the behaviour will be repeated . I fear we have rewarded this moron with replies follow posters .

25.) 30 Sep 2017 15:41:28
Oh he's from burton Explains it all I've worked there It's different Centuries of inbreeding does have consequences Probably just picked Spurs on Fifa 12 and stayed with them

26.) 01 Oct 2017 12:39:09
I live near Burton not in Burton my name swadlad gives you a big clue from where I'm from lol swad is for swadlincote ;) I guess geography ain't your thing lol

27.) 01 Oct 2017 14:19:37
Leeds united yet again show just how poor they are lol 3-0 to Sheffield Wednesday hahaha. Love how reality is setting into Leeds fans of just how awful your team is lol pitiful is what I'd call it ;)

07 May 2017 23:46:04
Personally I am happy with the season overall despite the obvious disappointment of missing out on a lay off spot. I really hope Gary Monk stays and has the full support of the Board to bring in the players he wants. I think we have surpassed ourselves with a small and average squad compared to some of those who finished above us. My two wishes for next season are to be more attack minded especially at ER and please keep the loan deals to a minimum and give new signings decent contracts. Hurry up next season! MOT,

1.) 08 May 2017 13:36:23
Couldn't agree more. I think we've had more than our fair share of happiness for one year, at one point i was smiling and it was Leeds United that put the smile there. I asked for top 10 at the start, was gutted at the end but ultimately very happy with the season. Bartley to resign hopefully and if we could get Pedraza on another seasons loan i'd try him again because with a pre-season behind him, I think could be decent. Rest of them, thanks but no thanks.

23 Apr 2017 21:03:13
Trying to figure why Antonson has not figured at all? Monk obviously doesn't rate him but what has killed our play off chances is a lack of goals. I know we are lacking creativity most of the time but when decent crosses have gone into the box Wood is mainly on his own. Roofe wasn't played enough either.

Monk will stay, and our better players, and that he has the financial backing to bring in the players he wants.

1.) 24 Apr 2017 09:11:51
Out scored in the cup by an off the bench Wood, Outscored in the league by Bartley (when he was getting games) , outscored by Doukara and Wilks in the reserves, Antonsson hasn't exactly made it hard for Monk. We need goals but Wood has done that up front, its the RW, AM, LW that has let us down, 15 ish goals between 7 of them (Dallas, Doukara, Roofe, Hernandez, Sacko, Pedrazza, Barrow) , our defense has provided nearly as many. The starting attacking midfield need to provide about 25 goals, 10 more goals from them would have given us a much better points total this term.

2.) 24 Apr 2017 12:31:58
Bit harsh gumming, in monks own words our style don't suit him so that don't make him a bad player it just shows there's no strength in depth to enable us to switch formation and play to his strengths. How many games has he actually started?

3.) 24 Apr 2017 15:44:06
Dont think its harsh Martyn, never said he was a bad player just that when he has come in he hasn't made it hard for Monk to drop him again (and he was playing the full 90 as a front 2 in the reserves so no excuses there) . Said when we first signed him that I had looked at the goals he had scored in Sweden and I was skeptical as 8 out of the 11 would have been saved by a Champ keeper.

He has good movement and he hits the target constantly but its not enough to get your shot on target at this level. I've stated a few times that we should have shipped him out on loan to a lower league team to find his feet and get used to English football, haven't changed my mind on that.

4.) 24 Apr 2017 18:34:10
I agree about putting him out on loan but you can't judge his form from the reserves or under 23,s as there prob the worst in that league this year and I've seen great players look bad in bad teams. He hasn't been given a chance. Everyone was shouting for roofe to be given a chance by monk and looking at Saturdays stats he didn't complete 10 passes in 90 mins so maybe it's monk that can't pick or buy quality strikers as he bought both roofe and anttonson.

30 Aug 2015 16:28:33
Speaking to a mate of mine, a Wolves fan, Van la Parra is a done deal providing personal terms agreed and subject to medical. All around Molineux yesterday. MOT.

1.) 30 Aug 2015 19:55:50
That sounds like Cellino figured for the transfer fee NEC wanted he could acquire 2 wingers and is doing precisely that.

2.) 31 Aug 2015 09:05:39
I reall don't think we want him. I think he is another FIFA15 signing by the video watching shop assistant. Read some of the comments by Wolves fans on news of his potential departure.
"VLP looked great in his first league game against Norwich with a MOTM performance. This sadly was the peak of his career at Wolves and he has gone downhill ever since. He is totally one footed and defenders have now sussed him out. His goalscoring ability is pretty well zero and his shooting power is pitiful. His body language is not good and his general scowling countenance looks like a smacked bottom. In addition he lacks any intestinal fortitude and desire to get stuck in. I could live with his lack of bottle if he had other major attributes but that is not the case.

Jez should try to keep the grin off his face whilst negotiating a fee and then at the requisite moment bite their hand off."

3.) 31 Aug 2015 11:40:33
Sounds like just the sort of player we want if we are to challenge for the play off spots this season! Not!! I know very little of the lad and I don't like to watch YouTube videos as they are just clips of there better moments and have no value to what the player is actually like! Does anyone know what this lad brings/ doesn't bring?? Edd your thoughts?

{Ed013's Note - I don't like judging on them videos at they only show the good things. He could be another Habibou, but with the right support and a chance in the team we will soon see if he is worth a punt}

What a brainless so and so O'Kane must be! We are injury depleted already, minus one player for six weeks due to indiscipline and he does that! I think we are cursed! I am dreading the rest of the season unless we recruit a proven goal keeper, centre back, centre forward and holding midfielder. I am usually a glass half full person but I'm finding it hard to be positive. We can't score and we concede too many. Desperate! Here's hoping the mess can be sorted and soon.

11 Jan 2018 17:07:46
Is Saiz's new nickname the Spitting Cobra? Stupid boy, Pike.

31 Oct 2017 23:09:19
Ever since the defeat at Millwall the confidence has drained noticeably from the team. Injuries to defenders at different times have not helped continuity and we haven't had a settled side. It was almost like the players thought themselves invincible and defeat at Millwall deflated them. We need a top class keeper, two more strong centre backs. a good left back, two strong holding midfielders and a top quality striker. Pennington and Borthwick-Jackson can then be returned to their parent clubs. I think the Board and coaches have seriously misjudged the Championship. It is a marathon and won't be won by flair players alone. We need some solidity and steel in the team. If we can recruit well in January, difficult I know, our season can be resurrected. Here's hoping. MOT.

1.) 01 Nov 2017 03:38:51
Cant keep buying players. The players we got are good enough i reckon. Just not organised or trained well enough. The teams that have beaten us this season have all been rubbish. We should walk this league. Its easy compared with recent seasons.

03 Oct 2017 19:18:37
I'm not claiming to be a tactical whizz kid but I would like to see Shaugnessy in a holding midfield position as he has impressed me. The defence is getting swamped away from home against physical teams as our mid fielders are not aggressive enough. He would add some steel and defensive cover which is badly needed. TC is learning about the Championship on the fly but I think he is smart enough to realise we need some bite in midfield. Hoping for some improvement in the next few fixtures MOT.

1.) 03 Oct 2017 20:15:45
Would you not rather have viera, we know he can compete and won't shirk a tackle?

2.) 04 Oct 2017 11:10:32
Vieria definitely gets stuck in but he needs to do a lot of work on his passing - his song is kind of ironic as he gives it away a lot!

14 Jun 2017 21:27:09
Only guessing here but perhaps a lot of managers have been put off by the Technical Director post, I.e. not being able to choose the players they want to bring in.
Trying to read behind the lines, I think that is the real reason Monk moved on as well as not getting the security blanket of a 3 year contract.
I would love to see Flores as manager but Radz keeping his cards firmly to his chest causing the bookies and press to speculate wildly.
I don't mind the wait as long as we get a good coach/ manager.

1.) 14 Jun 2017 23:25:15
Speedo. Even I don't mind the wait if it's worth waiting for. My fear is that we are having the wait and won't get the reward we are hoping for. I've such a long list of people I really just don't want, and the ones I would have loved have been ruled out or gone to Nantes

We badly need defensive cover and this young lad can play defence or defensive mf. Bellusci will no doubt have suspensions to serve due to his reckless tackling and we are short if Adeyemi gets Crocker. A no brained move if it's true.

Good posts above, but you can not blame TC for Saiz’s sending off. You don’t expect any footballer to spit at an opponent never mind a professional. That habit is disgusting and he deserves his six week ban, Saiz can be very petulant when he wants. If he had set up a goal or two instead of letting himself, the club, fans and the sport down would TC have come in for the stick he is getting for that decision? I think not. However, i do blame TC for making too many changes and making our club a laughing stock again.

The FA found that he had no case to answer against Port Vale after they studied film. You can bet if they thought he had spat during the game, being Leeds he would have been banned for sure. That time, you can not judge him. However, yesterday’s incident was needless, disgusting and insane. It seems spitting is not considered as badly in Latin countries, but he deserves his six week ban and a lot of people think he should never wear our shirt again even if he is our best attacking midfielder.
