Andy Delort reportedly agreed personal terms, joint top scorer in French second league with twenty plus goals.

Stellarwhite

1.) Great news if true, sounds to be very highly rated across europe, a coup if we get him by all accounts, things are taking shape very nicely. Doukara & Bianchi sound like they could be key players for us this season already although its still very early days I'm cautiously optimistic

2.) Prem teams were looking at him so would be a good move .lets hope

3.) 04 Aug 2014 10:38:54
Delort has also represented France in their Beach Soccer team, so he must have some skill. 😃

4.) I hope we agree a fee and get this deal done. Having watched this guy on the net,he is rapid, runs quick with the ball at his feet, holds the ball up, wins headers against the centre halves, and more importantly, he can score goals, 24 in 36 games last term.
Just what we need as I think this chap could rip the championship apart and be far better than Rosco (not having a go at Rosco, he did a great job for us)
Good times me hopes. and hopefully re-own Elland Road come November

5.) We shall see, was mentioned previously that we were one of the clubs interested in him but considering southampton were also mentioned at the same time and the players they've had go out/money in it'd suggest they'd be in a better position but the lad has played under Eric Cantona who I guess would have some interesting things to say about us

6.) This is the same player who mc said, he was not interested in signing?!!
this was about 4 weeks ago!

Everyone's mystic meg.

It's that horrible shut up and see what happens time.

Granted it doesn't normally go too well in our case but I'm still willing to be positive and see what happens.

Beats trying to second guess or predict what will or might happen, one things for certain we're all Leeds.

Are we all Leeds? It makes you wonder sometimes when you read some of the posts on here.

{Ed003's Note - It seems to be a negative news day scoops.}

2.) 17 Jun 2014 23:48:14
Of course we are all leeds that is a given otherwise we would not be reading the site and then putting a comment on, it is just that a lot of fans with I expect good football knowledge can see this is a mistake and we don't want to waste a year, and then seeing us have to appoint someone else, or that will do is delay our recovery and have to pay compensation again.

So has Mad Mick got his tickets yet?

Stellarwhite

1.) It's sorted and he's chosen the Donny game in March and will get his tickets a couple of days before.
Jeff

2.) Will maybe put some of the cranks objections to rest once it's done.

I find it intriguing that some people post negative opinions on the banter/rumour pages and then when someone takes time to write a well informed, thought out and researched reply they suddenly disappear.

Can't imagine it's due to them suddenly changing there opinion, can't wait till march and then everyone is accountable to an extent for what they say.

Stellarwhite

1.) I have not disappeared and stand by what I think about Survivor. I may be wrong and if I am, I will hold my hands up and say so. It won't be the first or last time Stellar. Here's why I think he's a crank. Firstly his posts are hardly groundbreaking are they. He's estimated that Cellino will get FL approval anywhere this time of Christmas. He announced that the sale was done when we all expected it around that day and it was probably in the public domain anyway. He probably goes on End of The World websites and predicts Armageddon every day! Also for a guy that claims he is very ITK and battling with Bates to set up Yorkshire Radio, why the hell is he on here 24/7. If I was such a billy big balls I wouldn't be almost camped out on this site. I might be wrong but I think he's a dreamer who posts predictable stuff. If I'm wrong, then sorry Survivor and can I have free tickets for me and me lad for the next home game?

Mad Mick

2.) I also agree with Mad Mick, also if i'm wrong I will walk the the magic sponge in the buff. Big Mark

3.) 14 Feb 2014 14:31:44
BIG Mark, I hope your wrong too. Can't wait! Tarquin Pillow -Biter

I thought Melvyn Morris might be worth a shot looking to make half a billion.

I think I mentioned it twice yesterday about Snoddy don't know if this has encouraged this or if I was close to something.

Reason I mentioned it was connecting Jeff "I will survive but never reply" Survivors dots/riddle about the ex Leeds player who's an international, our dire need for a leader, someone who's had issue/problems at parent club and who may possibly have had a first refusal clause due to going a bit cheap.

Then I saw twitter mentions of sightings in town and I just don't know what to think at the moment.

We always get excited and most say never go back, but I look at the players who came good when Larry was managing coupled with the odd gems we have now and know how different this season could of been.

After Saturday I look forward to massive changes for tomorrow/todays game and hopefully the players who make it to the pitch give a good reply but a Robert Snodgrass return would be brilliant.

What difference it'd make at this stage I'm not sure, so maybe the young development squad lads should get a chance for the remainder of the season and we leave it at that.

I want to see Leeds win and before every match I still think we can do it (till I see the team sheet at least) but at this stage is it worth bringing in a loanee like Snodgrass to take us to seventh/eighth with a good set of results when a young lad could be getting the chance of some match time.

That eight point gap doesn't seem to be getting any smaller and all though I'm ever the optimist we either go hard or go young, the end of March can't come soon enough for me, was the same for Feb and Jan.

Time will tell.

Don't know why I'm even rising but as far as I'd read a firm in Miami were now dealing with the legal side of things after the BMcD debacle, nobody listens because you chat shiz I'm surprised you've not mentioned the fl statement yet that you've apparently asked for that Phil Hay and Adam Pope have posted half an hour ago.

I'm pretty certain we've now brought in two strikers, along with Matt Smith, Morrison & Dominic Poleon. I make that five.

I think what you're getting at is that you feel these chaps ain't good enough or a replacement for Ross, I think the general feeling is rather than one chappie getting a shed load goals that hopefully our goals will be more evenly spread between a host of strikers and our midfielders meaning we aren't solely reliant on one player.

Think the agreement in place would only allow Leeds United to buy back the stadium but it is technically possible the ground could then be sold on to a third party once back in control of the club.

No offence to your pals boy but I'm guessing he's not quite at our level either so how could he decipher if he's that good of a coach?

His managerial job result/attendance wise doesn't seem too bad when you read into it and his coaching history and setting up the first academy is a pretty good accolade.

Specially considering MC probably only knows about the chap from Gibbs which may suggest more of a collective approach to coaching/tactics and hopefully keeping Gibbs on if Hockaday were to get a coaching job of some description.

I did the whole google thing a while ago and think a reply I made about it got knocked back, nothing massively negative or slanderous but can understand how if a lot of survivor Jeff posts were coming through at the time how eds could of stopped it.

I guess it doesn't matter who anyone is on here it could all be a load a rubbish and most of the times the rumours are, some hit and lots miss but that's rumours. Keeps things interesting.

The opinions and banter are what matters, not someone's name or what they do. It's opinions and banter that show peoples personality as can posting thirty odd rumours and getting a few right. What's in a name eh.

End of the day we're all Leeds.(maybe some wendies in disguise) But this site certainly kills a bit of time.

Jeff banter/bmcd out/cellino in/anything Leeds even if I don't agree it's something to read.
