£12million for Flint and Bryan according to the Bristol Post? Don't know about the rest of you, but I'd rather have Barts back for £7.5m and use the other £4.5m on a FB or two . (At least we know he plays well for us) .

1.) 22 Jul 2017 19:27:02
Can't see us paying that. If we do I will be seriously impressed.

2.) 22 Jul 2017 21:16:03
Well said alftupper - I felt the same, I can't see us paying anywhere near that (probably should've said so in my post) . I wonder if the thumbs down were for 'unlikely to happen' or to 'Barts over Flint/Bryan? ' I will still take Barts over any other linked defender this summer as he is proven to do it at Leeds! MOT .

3.) 22 Jul 2017 23:36:02
Guessing the guy at the Post is having some wishful thinking with that one, Flint is available for around the £4m mark supposedly and I can't see Bryan commanding £8m. £7m-9m gets them both easy. Same for Barts, think they would consider any offer around the £5m mark, saying £7m is just trying to drive the price up.

4.) 23 Jul 2017 11:35:57
£12m for two defenders who finished 19th is laughable.

5.) 23 Jul 2017 12:56:02
I wonder what happened to our interest in Danny Batth? Seemed the ideal solution, club captain, just coming into his prime and only a £2m price tag.

I think the whole "will we / won't we get the Alioski and Saiz deals done" gave me hope and a purpose every morning - these were exciting times, and now they are finally here, I feel a bit down not waking up hoping to have the good news (don't get me wrong, I'm estatic they are here! ) I know it may sound weird but just to be linked to actual spending money transfers after 13 / 14 odd years made me feel great again! Come on Leeds, let's get drawn into another exciting transfer linked saga . MOT!

1.) 16 Jul 2017 11:54:03
Forget transfer sagas, and pre season, look forward to the real thing, only 3 weeks left! We're not under monk anymore there's no drama in failing to sign targets, radz isn't playing, he's trusting orta and throwing his money where he feels appropriate to get what he wants. This bloke knows that there will be 30000 plus in ER every Saturday, so at £30 a pop he's not shy of spending his money to make that 30000 come back every week. I like that, I think the management finally understand what passionate fans we are and are looking to reward us for our loyalty. Get excited gents

FFP is over three seasons rather than one as of March this year. A lot is being spent this pre-season but, we have at least two seasons before the gamble has to pay off. Even if we finally achieve promotion back to the big time, I don't expect another pre-season of transfer activity like we're currently seeing. Not trying to put a dampener on anything at all. I'm as excited as anyone with what's happening. Just saying; don't get used to first team investment on this scale. One or two marquee signings for the first team and a lot of youth through revolving doors will be it after this.

Dallas signs new contract. Selling to Norwich days are well and truly over. Exciting times! MOT .

1.) 30 Aug 2017 20:17:46
Nice to read what he said too. some players "get"' what the club Is about and what it means to play there Others go to burnley

2.) 30 Aug 2017 20:31:44
"I'm happy here and it's where I want to be. I feel as if I'm going to be part of something special this season, " - so refreshing to hear these words about our club after so many years in the wilderness. MOT .

3.) 30 Aug 2017 20:40:53
He's a top man and so glad he wanted to stay, it goes to show they are all buying into Radz and TC. MOT

4.) 30 Aug 2017 20:51:05
Well said Stuart Dallas, what a great pro. The lad has not complained when being benched, has had a few mares in the past but seems to be happy to buy into TCs Revolution.

Pawel Cibicki - year by year compilation of all his goals and assists.

1.) 28 Aug 2017 16:58:48
Some reports suggest we don't have a contract tables nor do we have a bid in for him either. Slightly annoying.

23 Aug 2017 10:02:47
Exciting to see what Jay-Roy has to offer, the last dutch striker we had with a double first name didn't do too badly! MOT .

1.) 23 Aug 2017 15:32:24
As long as he doesn't pick up my dry cleaning in error like the last one did!

21 Aug 2017 21:13:15
We should spend the £15m on Diego Costa's wages and loan him from Chelsea, he isn't doing much at the moment. He would almost guarantee us promotion. Premier League football would be worth 20 times the £15m investment and then he could get his move to Athletico. Win win situation, he gets some creditability back, we win promotion and Conte will reckon he won the battle by throwing him down a league! Not a chance in hell but funny where your imagination takes you after a few beers! MOT .

1.) 21 Aug 2017 21:30:00
Even for that he's a moody bugger and would probably demand a move to Burnley by October

How about using a proven formula from Arsene Wenger - the Bergkamp and Henry formula? Wenger switched Henry from winger to the best striker in the world, and that coupled with the more experienced slower moving but perfectly skilfull passing tactician Bergkamp made it an unbeatable combo. We can do the same with Roofe and Hernandez. Probably not at the same standard, but we are not trying to win the premiership, we are trying to gain promotion . Thoughts?

1.) 19 Aug 2017 20:08:46
Back up combo of saiz and alioski too.

2.) 19 Aug 2017 20:19:39
Saiz, on present form, is back up to nobody

3.) 19 Aug 2017 20:47:27
Leodis. true that, mate. I take it back.

4.) 19 Aug 2017 22:43:03
Strong bow I said something similar earlier today about not needing a big number nine and using pace and creativity. i even used the example of arsenal. Sounds worth at least a go to me. How did Nicosia play in the Europa league last year? did they have a lumbering forward or nippy skilful ones?
