That acid test for us is the 15th of September against the in breads ( millwall)
Last year top of the league and unbeaten .
Went to milkwall got bullied, lost and it all went south from there. Just watched millwall lose at home after being 1 up and Swansea down to ten men.
There manager was fuming, they are going to be angry, physical and it's leeds.
What happens there will I think shape our season.

Agree slough i had similar thoughts, the Millwall game and Preston game our next Two. Maybe tougher games than what we have faced so far. Teams know how we play now and don't think we are going to be a surprise with our style of play. Do think we have more than enough to get a result but these type of teams will be up for us and in our faces.

2.) 02 Sep 2018 13:39:08
We'll be fine, IF we get a decent ref.

3.) 03 Sep 2018 14:07:51
Mutley a big welcome to the mad house, I would agree with you can’t see how he will fit in the squad a team the moment, needs to prove a lot as to date he’s far a part, still we are doing great at the moment, in joy you time on this site.

4.) 03 Sep 2018 14:47:30
Think we will beat Millwall, different team from last year, more grit and commitment. Wall have not got much to offer and will be surprised if they finish with ten men. Preston play well but against our first team they will struggle. Think Bielsa may have a plan for them.

5.) 03 Sep 2018 14:49:59
Absolutely AL! That boro ref was a joker! Just watched back the Friend tackle on Harrison that wasn't a booking, and the accidental tangle of legs that got Samu booked! Shocking double standards!

6.) 04 Sep 2018 13:48:09
depends if Bermo is going to the game - he doesn't have the best of luck when watching his beloved Leeds.

7.) 04 Sep 2018 14:55:52
It's the same every game Bright, I think someone will have to drive a car onto the pitch and run one of our players over to get a penalty.

19 Apr 2017 19:04:40
With regards Jansson, is he officially our player right now. My point is, I thought he was signing a contract at the end of the season. Which means if he moves on before signing we get nothing.

The Slough white

1.) 19 Apr 2017 23:24:32
Nobody knows.

2.) 20 Apr 2017 19:38:50
he signed in jan he is our player believe we paid 3.5 for him. If he gets sold it will be leeds desicion and leeds will get the fee. My worry is he seemed to start playing soppy stuff after signing for us and since then the 'problems' have started. his agent said today he will not keep him if we don't go up, even then he still might go, still only one player and we will get great fee on him so either way is kind of a win for us

3.) 21 Apr 2017 08:26:51
My big worry, this is from reading what media sources have said so it could be flat out wrong, is that his current contract is with Torino and he is on loan with us. To officially sign a contract with us he can't already have one i. e. the loan, This would mean that although we have agreed a fee and a contract the paperwork won't be filed till the loan expires.

If that's true, and a team makes a big offer, he could still reject the contract we have offered him before it comes into effect which would mean we get £0 for him because we never technically owned him (Torino would get the payout) . Now he could sign for us regardless (out of loyalty at that point) or it could be media sources not understanding the contract situation (not sure how it works myself) but isn't that how Cellino dodged Cameron Stewart? that's why i'm a little worried, not just that we will lose him but we won't see a penny.

4.) 21 Apr 2017 14:36:52
Did we have to pay Stewart compensation?

5.) 21 Apr 2017 14:41:37
As I believe it he signed in january for the contract to start at the end of the loan at the end of season and one payment has been made to torino and the second due at the seasons end so he's our player signed and sealed and if I remember celinio lost the Cameron Stewart case in court and had to pay players wages.

Cooper out until new year, Dallas out until new year. This is getting ridiculous. I'm taking me boots Saturday I might get on the bench. Hold on! I'm left footed I'm starting aliuseless on the bench😀😀 Shackleton to replace Dallas I think. MOT.

1.) 05 Dec 2018 20:06:43
What is the talk. Bielsa loves s small squad?
Been saying this since August. NO STRENGTH IN DEPTH.

The guys have done well, no doubt, a shame to drop away because Radz saved a few £s and the kids got a run out. What about EXPERIENCE?

Good idea to bring your boots.

2.) 05 Dec 2018 23:51:03
No strength in depth? and you noted that in August? take a peep at the league table, I'm sure we're second, not too shabby for a far too small squad eh?

07 Sep 2018 16:04:45
I see millwall have nearly sold out for there cup final next Saturday. Looking at the game, based on watching there tactics last weekend. Long up to Morison who wins the header and they have people join on from there. Pontus has to play. Win the first header and nullify there main tactic. Morison will batter Berardi or cooper in the air.

The Slough white

1.) 07 Sep 2018 16:24:26
Ooh, sold out, 15,000! ! ! Their manager thinks they're fitter than us, hahaha methinks not.

2.) 07 Sep 2018 19:41:13
elliot is the one who worries me, think pontus needs to play, this is a game for him maybe over beradi who might suffer with hieght or even beradi and pontus.

20 Aug 2018 22:00:43
Why would rads come out now and mention managers he went for. Juat shut your mouth, what's to be gained, nothing.
What's to lose a managers momentum.
person!

1.) 20 Aug 2018 22:46:09
I think he was just trying to prove the calibre of
Manger he was after. Still strange though. Hope he not confusing that with getting players in?

2.) 20 Aug 2018 22:53:26
I found the disclosure and timing particularly odd too. Whitey, hit the thumbs down button!

3.) 20 Aug 2018 23:05:48
Another sign of his naivety when it comes to running a football club.

4.) 21 Aug 2018 08:43:17
You may be right Wexy but you would never do that about any manager you employ no matter the trade. Just plain naive.

5.) 21 Aug 2018 14:30:56
Agreed. Bad move, bad timing. MB is the best of all of the names mentioned tho, which is what he should now be saying!

6.) 21 Aug 2018 17:21:18
I think the good fringe players are going to take their time and weigh up all the options, likewise the clubs might be waiting on who else could be coming and going before making some final decisions. Add to that a rightly picky coach, who doesn’t want to upset the balance and needs to see that each addition makes a Betty improvement! All in all not simple, would have been a lot easier if we had had a crap start and bad performances. Remember any new players will have to fit in the 11 or 18 and the knock on effect will inevitably be that some of the youngsters won’t get a chance. I think Bielsa knows what he wants and possibly who, but not easy to get or even sure they might be available yet. So last minute finger biting!

7.) 21 Aug 2018 18:55:26
George, you should stick that thing on your shoulder down the toilet it will make a good cleaner.

On the M1 driving up to the game from beautiful slough ( not) Butterflies as don't know what to expect later. Already seen a few scarves out of car windows. Marching on together.

Well done lad.
Hope you enjoy the game.
Did I tell you all I passed a car with registration LUFC last week. Just 5km from where I live in Mandurah WA.
Think he was jealous of my plate.
LEEDS 1.

Don't get this, I presume we have paid Murphy up the last year of his contract. He wouldn't just walk away for nothing. Today he's apparently signing for Bolton. Why didn't we sell him instead. That way receiving money instead of paying out money. Please enlighten me if I'm wrong chaps.

The Slough white

1.) 02 Aug 2018 09:01:58
Because he's crap, relatively worthless and KUFC couldn't be arsed with farting around with contract negotiations and greedy agents.

2.) 02 Aug 2018 09:08:01
Excuse the typo, should have been LUFC not KUFC, obviously!

3.) 02 Aug 2018 09:31:18
I hear you Slough, think it was best for all concerned and at least Murphy always made himself available.
Careful with them chicken wings Southern .

4.) 02 Aug 2018 10:23:34
As the player has not put in a transfer request, the club would still be liable to compensate the player the value of the contract. It is unlikely that we would have got much for Murphy as there was no demand to pay a fee for his services therefore paying off his contract probably removes the requirement to deal with agents to get him transferred.

5.) 02 Aug 2018 10:42:13
😉 thanks Dogwise, good advice 😂.

6.) 02 Aug 2018 12:49:23
Kufc mmmmmm sounds tempting sputhern.

7.) 02 Aug 2018 14:28:04
Bolton probably couldn't afford/ didn't want to pay a fee but snapped him up for nowt. I think they have a good deal there Murphs was a solid Championship player.

8.) 02 Aug 2018 15:57:44
Agreed Alf. Solid enough, and did have some good games for us. Wish the lad well.

9.) 02 Aug 2018 16:04:19
Disagree about Murphy being a solid Championship player. Admittedly he has played Championship football for the past three seasons but he was a bit part player for us in 2016 season and has played two seasons at Burton. Murphy is a good league 1/ bottom third of Championship player.

10.) 02 Aug 2018 18:06:02
Kufc typo, thank god you didn’t type lunt 😂.

Probably going to get shot down but I’m entitled to my opinion. Hernandez for me is an impact player off the bench in a good squad. At home he has his moments no doubt he’s class at times. Away from home he is a complete passenger most of the time. Glad he’s staying but by no means consistent enough to be a first choice pick as I say with a play off chasing squad.

Westy, a rock, have you been to many games this season? The man clearly wants to be somewhere else. Fist pumps the kop when we win, feigns injury when we are losing and goes missing. Get as much for him as we can and get a centre half with balls.

Kp will be dropping back a lot. He’s centre back. Alioski must have something on bielsa. No other reason why he’s undropable.

Yeah, and on what basis is he qualified. Bloke didn’t even play the game. He signs whatever player he can get the best backhander for.
