With Anita joining last week, who played best at RB for Newcastle, we seem to be very heavy on versatile RB capable players. Certainly not a bad position to be in but wondered if Ailing is being looked at for CB pairing with Janson. Seems to be chatter about a potential loan from Scum for a LB. Just hope this doesn't make Berradi surplus to requirements. He typifies the Leeds spirit for me, always prepared to put his body on the line and doesn't mind the sight of blood (his or more often his opponents).

Beradi a definite for me, like you say Whiteknight he it's a good shift in and we are apparently actually trying to sign the young Man Utd defender priced at £2.55M and we are looking at Bathh from Wolves! Who knows though mate eh, probably be a player we never thought of! MOT

2.) 10 Jul 2017 12:41:51
Anita will play centre midfield, it's his preferred position.

3.) 10 Jul 2017 14:10:57
Anita has already said he likes playing CDM and as we have ayling there would be no point in changing that, ayling is not a cb. Berardi is 1 of the best defenders we have by a long shot so lb will be his n the man utd player will come in as cover.

Cant drop berahdi.

Now we have stability, own ER, a promising squad and real prospects of doing something this year, its blooming typical that Trump is going to start a nuclear apocalypse. I think Mr Harvey might be goading North Korea as he's tried everything else to screw us over.

WhiteKnight

{Ed033's Note - I guess you're joking, but at some point there maybe a limited strike on North Korea, but it won't be "a nuclear apocalypse". That is all fear porn by the fake news sites.

Ed033, by fake news sites, I trust you really mean "the news sites". One and same thing, bruv.

{Ed033's Note - yes BBC, CNN etc. They get the sports scores correct but that's about it.

We all know we have needed a quality CB for a while and have wondered why so many other players have come in quickly and arguably the most important is yet to materialise. I have seen hints that whomever it is will be sorted and announced this week. The Charlie Taylor money has now been agreed. I assumed it was going to be sorted be tribunal at some point in the distant future but clearly this has been an ongoing issue. Part of me thinks they may have been holding off buying the next player until they knew what money was coming in. I assume a decent CB is going to cost a few mil. With the extra £6-7 mil (rumoured) would this make Bartley an option or has the purchase of Elland Road and the new banners made me unrealistically optimistic.

It's not easy to buy a CB unless you spend crazy money, Carlos Caravan at the Wendies said the same thing. Fans don't want players from abroad, but sometimes you have to make do. Flint £6m, Bartley £7.5m these are the kind of prices Championship CBs cost now.

Makes Pontus look like a real bargain!

Although obviously hoping for playoffs can anyone shed light on what happens to season tickets if we don't. The club says they are freezing prices and you have to renew before the last game of the season to keep that price. Last year MC said we would get a discount if we didn't make playoffs which won't be decided (possibly) until the last game.

Do we have to pay as normal then they give us money back separately? By buying tickets as the club recommends are we waiving our right to the money back? Very confused. Hope its not relevant but not seen anything mentioned either way.

It was a money-back deal, not a discount as far as I can remember.

2.) 26 Apr 2017 15:40:04
It was money back but i think it was only triggered if a certain number of season tickets were sold (was it 15000?) by a particular date (think it was the end of July) and i don't think that they were so regardless of what happens there won't be any refunds.

3.) 26 Apr 2017 20:07:11
Money back if we fail a top 6 spot a bigger percentage back if we sold 15,000 S/T, so I believe we are still on for a refund paid into bank.

4.) 26 Apr 2017 20:11:30
Taking rubbish Alf. Club are to send out applications for refunds if the club do not make top 6. Refund applies to those who took advantage of the offer and get 25% back minus VAT. The rub is that there will be a deadline to make your application

5.) 26 Apr 2017 23:00:19
It is 25% refund if under 15000 sold and 50% if over 15000. The alleged figure was 14500 in total so 25% due.

Dont think that buying ER is included in expenditures but it reduces our costs be 1.7 mil. He does seem to be spending well but not an idiot so i assume he has a plan otherwise he would hit the loan market. can't see him letting us fail.

Think owners used to be able to contribute 8 mil but not sure if its changed. Maybe a few going the other way. I can't see us keeping hold of all those midfielders and reckon one of antonson, erwin or douks may go.
