Phil Parkinson Next on the radar. peoples thoughts? Excellent manager and coach, done consistently well with City and Bolton promoted first shot. Plotted Chelseas downfall in FA cup and some good results against premier opposition. Worth a shot?

Yeah who cares. Right now anyone proven with a good record will please me. I just want to a real some answers and start getting a team and a pre-season put together. Killing me the unknown, hopefully the end of the week will see us more informed.

2.) 09 Jun 2017 12:58:10
worth a punt i guess but as yet no championship experience. i would give him a go, however.

3.) 10 Jun 2017 01:11:15
Phil Parkinson for me.

4.) 10 Jun 2017 10:53:16
Lived in Colchester most of my life and was a season ticket holder through the parky era, really top bloke, decent manager with an eye for a bargain (even in league 1) . Took a very mediocre Colchester side to 7th in the championship. He's a straight talker too. I think he would suit us very well. One thing is certain though, we need to give him a chance if he is appointed and not boo the minute things go against us.

This is my first posting. Had this one on very good authority from Liverpool FC employee that its signed and sealed that Andre Wisdom (Leeds born) joining long term in January, out of favour at Liverpool after signing extended contract in Jan 2013, Good central defender, left / right back. Young player on fringe of England u21.

borneoboy

1.) Fringe of u21? Pretty sure he's captain :/

2.) How is he on the fringe when he's the captain?

3.) Ha yeah good call not that good authority

Well we are all hoping Leeds make the playoffs but maybe a game too far now. maybe we all being a little impatient in the grand scheme of things re Radz plans. The one player a lot of people failing to mention is Yosuke Ideguchi Japanese international. Personally I think this guy is going to be the business to build around. Philips and O'Kane decent squad players but all to inconsistent, build the team around him and viera and could be going places. So maybe need to build and concentrate on the skilful industrious players we have. which to him can only really add Hernandez, Saiz and Viera. Fingers crossed.

1.) 13 Feb 2018 14:23:20
Love to think you are right but i can't put much faith in a £500,000 buy unable to get a start in series B team being are saviour. Sure he will be decent and maybe better than some we have but some one to build a team round is a bit much me thinks.

2.) 13 Feb 2018 17:11:11
He's struggling for game time at a club in the very lower half of te Spanish 2nd division, and cost us 500k, I wouldn't be expecting too much from him, that's just being realistic not pessimistic.

3.) 13 Feb 2018 21:41:31
I think we should recall Ideguchi, he only used as a sub in a lower league team, he needs game time. Be good for PH to look and work with him for rest of season, to see if he the future. If he is that good, we could have a great midfield with Forshaw, Vierra, saiz. Then need a GK, CB, quality winger and maybe a big price striker and let lassoga go?

4.) 14 Feb 2018 07:50:31
Lasogga is going anyway - he is only on loan this season.

5.) 14 Feb 2018 18:35:07
Totally agree Shad. What good is Ideguchi doing warming the bench in Spain, may as well benchwarm here. Get to know the lads.

6.) 14 Feb 2018 20:08:32
alftupper, just read that Lasogga May be staying and 75% of fans are in favour of this.

Well who is going to Analyse TC's defeats next season, will take them 2 years. Why oh why interfere with the goal scoring run . gave Millwall it back on a plate. Awful. given TC plenty of opportunity but yet again Leeds bottling at the 11th hour. Tactically not good enough.53 yrs old seen this too many times I'm gutted. where's the pride. Looking at the form table, Brentford, Fulham, Villa all be above us. yep mid table mediocrity and I hate to say it.

borneoboy

1.) 20 Jan 2018 17:38:55
But AR and TC have a long term plan lol

2.) 20 Jan 2018 17:40:12
SOOOO sad. Millwall had scored 6 away goals in 13 away matches. and 4 today! Stop pretending it'll be alright . IT WONT! We need a manager with RELEVANT experience not one from an island in the Med. with few teams to play! Come on! Mid table at best unless Radrixxani gets rid of his best buddy! The Championship is NOT a table to learn the game. TC, do that in Sunday League!

3.) 20 Jan 2018 17:42:35
33500 there today, deserve better.

4.) 20 Jan 2018 17:44:24
No one employed in football has a long term contract. TC OUT NOW!

5.) 20 Jan 2018 17:47:20
The problem started months ago with the policy of buying for the future instead of the here and now the majority of players brought in ain't good enough for this league couple this with TCs inexperience and top 6 was always going to be a long shot, the money wasted on Grot Klitch and the rest should have been spent on quality rather than potential to highlight TCs shortcomings taking our strike force off was criminal TC and Orta to go

Anyone remember David Batty barely used to get out of his own half!

borneoboy

1.) 05 Nov 2017 09:40:23
Somebody posted on this site it’s not luck in football it’s skill now you’re posting we were unlucky can’t have it both ways.

2.) 05 Nov 2017 10:58:15
There was nothing unlucky about yesterday, we were guilty of substandard finishing and terrible goalkeeping, we have two of the biggest strikers in the game, yet one looks like he runs on sand and the other couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo! Half of our players can’t tackle, Siaz jumps out of tackles! You can scream all you like about unlucky but at the end of the day for what ever reason it is not working and we are playing relegation football, it’s ok saying we will sort it in January but that is a lot of games away and it will be to late!

3.) 05 Nov 2017 11:06:52
Batty was brilliant. He did what he was supposed to perfectly. And george. U say we are playing quite well? U usually talk semi sense mate. Where did that pearler come from? And for whoever posted we are being unlucky and have made lots of individual errors! ? Errrrr. that's the diff between winning and losing. 90% of goals can be put down to individual error. So
Well done leeds. Another fine achievement. Anybody know how we get out of this slump? Anybody? We are playing rubbish. We are incapable of passing to our own team mates
We are incapable of keeping our shape. I saw 4 midfielders standing in midfield during play without 1 brentford player near them. It is coincidentally impossible for 10 players to hit bad form at the same time. There is a reason. TC! We can keep specualting about playing diff players, doing this and that. But TC has really tweaked and tried diff players. It seems we have bought rubbish in the main and whose to say we won't in jan as well
Saiz was our only decent player. Lassonga and jannsen were atrociois. Drop them both now. Shame on them.

4.) 05 Nov 2017 11:49:06
Mikewoody67 this May come as a shock but I agree with 💯 % good post mate.

5.) 05 Nov 2017 11:52:52
What I posted Aus is that we are not playing particularly badly. What I meant by that is we seem to be playing to our maximum and I see that as a bad thing because I don't believe we are capable of changing way things are going under TC. He's doing worse than Hock now.

6.) 05 Nov 2017 13:26:14
Unfortunately there is not one thing that we are doing glaringly badly. That would be far easier to fix. Our problem is the worst. Lots of little errors, poor decisions, missplaced passes, lack of shape; all compounded by a drop in form for too many at the same time. All sounds easy to fix and would be independently of each other but together they form a perfect storm and requires a mental as much as a training ground solution. This is where TC and his gang will show their worth over the International break. Someone needs to draw a very deep line in the sand, regroup, remember who we are, what we can do, and go again.

Gutted, again. but fair play to SU they wanted it more. Good cohesion in their side which took a couple of attempts to get out of league 1 and their momentum is good. Now breaks my heart to say Leeds still up in the air re formations, Philips poor first half but scored, defense yet again a different pairing, Lassogga completely ineffective, Anita out of his depth totally outplayed, Vieraaaaaaaaaa good game but O'kane too easily shrugged off ball. Would have brought Dallas on to curb the wingers runs and play two upfront, they played the ball out with far too much time and quickly too. Not taking teams too long to realise that if they neutralise Saiz we definitely struggle. oh and not to forget their 6 bookings. thought we the dirty ones. Had it not been for 2 or 3 world class saves it would have been embarrassing.

1.) 27 Oct 2017 23:18:58
Ayling, Pennington, Lasogga all poor tonight and Alioski just does nothing other than fall over and ask for free kicks.

2.) 28 Oct 2017 00:00:33
I thought Ayling played ok, he did get around the pitch and never stopped running, he played for the shirt, maybe not very well but he tried, other than that I agree with you matey!

3.) 28 Oct 2017 00:06:31
Can't knock Ayling for his effort at all, just not one of his better games tonight sadly. Gave the ball away a lot and also caught out for the 2nd goal in the same way he was for Barrow's goal against Reading. He's usually Mr Reliable so can't be too harsh on him.

4.) 28 Oct 2017 09:13:22
Look guys. We hit the post and should have had a penalty for the pull on Pennington so on another day it could have been 3_2 to us

5.) 28 Oct 2017 10:57:29
Well done Martyn; first positive review I've read! Thought Saiz was very good again tonight, and Lonners was outstanding with his shot stopping. Regarding SU, apart from Sharp, I can't say I knew anything about any of their team, but their gaffer has them playing some very good football, and he says they were off their game last night! I still see us being in the mix by the end of the season tho.

23 Jan 2016 19:08:29
Well sat in Elland road I sorely predicted what a dross 1st half was to come.
One sole striker upfront again, this formation is not working and gave a dire Bristol City far too much respect. I'm a fan of SE but why 4231 again, I think it's time we got rid of highly overrated Lewis Cook completely ineffective today and on past couple of occasions. Poor Doukara had whole half of pitch to cover and gave city far too much time to build. 442 far better when it came but still poor on the day. Hope this signing from Brentford pays off, some of our players way too small namely Cook, Bridcutt, Dallas. Murphy by far best player today.
Anyway take 3 points, but very lucky, good attacking forward required if we are to progress.

borneoboy

1.) 23 Jan 2016 20:58:36
Cook overrated? He's about 18 isn't he? God give him a break.

2.) 23 Jan 2016 23:05:21
He's been playing too far forward, he's a lot more effective in a deeper position! He can't control the game.

Lets not forget the money we could have paid Hasselbaink would have kept us in the division and not missed out on a champions league spot, instead we then offered stupid money to the likes of seth johnso et all and where did we go after that, an opportunity was missed.
