I so hope this rumour isn't true . It is that Cook has a £5million release clause if (when) Leeds aren't promoted this season.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post it's true.
Man Utd are also keen to sign him plus others like Bournemouth!
To cap it off it looks like Mowatt won't be signing a contract extension as his agent openly says 👎👎👎👎.
{Ed001's Note - release clauses are very unusual in the UK, I seem to remember Ed002 saying they are not legally binding here, but I could be wrong.}

Club said we'd be fighting promotion this season.
Instead we're fighting relegation, so I tend to believe more that comes from the local paper than El Presidente Cellino's mouth.

There's an article on the Daily Wail website on Hockaday that everyone seems to have missed. It looks as if it was posted yesterday and updated today. The gist of it is that he's not as daft as he looks. Which is good to know. If you can believe anything from that source .

If Cellino sees a trainwreck ahead as regards Cagliari stadium of course he's going to take evading action featuring not getting it in the neck as regards fit and proper person test. Damage limitation time. Similarly, GFH will want their money back before the ordure hits the fan. More damage limitation otherwise why have they already done what they have done? I'm not saying rumour is true but it makes perfectly good sense .
