Heard that we are tracking two lads at mk dons. Ben reeves centre mid. And a winger called Powell. No nothing about them, but my cousin works for the club and said there was an enquiry. Nothing more.
1.) I'm surprised how many have ticked this as unbelievable .
N S is renowned for finding up and coming talent, this is his first English job so I would wager that he will be looking at players from the lower leagues in this country .
We are looking for future players as well as now so it would not surprise me if we signed up a couple of young players from any club .
2.) Ben Reeves is a quality player, Powell is OK would rather have Dele Alli

Reeves very well thought of,! got someone who works their says some1 was watching him very recent, but the d Ali prospect much more difficult as a team in merseyside are keen on him and k robinson is an ex employee fees of £10 million been mooted about, but maybe see how he plays this year and sign him jan 15 then loan him back for season to help develop
Hears hoping for k agard to sign and talks are quick as they have been last 3 signings for us

5.) Mis I live down south so love this site for some hands up, but in the past some rumour's have been so wrong .
I have made predictions and comments that have nearly all come true so far .
N S is well known for finding young talent so a young player worth looking at may come under his radar whether abroad or M K dons, I also still think it could be possible for unwanted players to be used as leverage for a lower league prospect .

Hearing as I'm sure a lot of you are that poleon has had his contracted terminated as he wants to go find first team football. If it's true I personally think it's a shame, talented boy with pace. Could have given him a run in the team to see if he can hack it, not 10 mins as a sub here and there!
1.) Hope not, the kid has never been given a proper chance, must be frustrating when he watches hunt(terrible terrible player) and morrison(not has bad has hunt but doesn't care one bit for Leeds) get in before him and the new kid ajose come straight in from no where, this may come back and haunt us IMO, especially if no fee for him, don't get MC sometimes he won't go the few extra £ for quality but let's players leave for nothing without replacements in? Pressure is on now because hunt and Morrison are only going to get worse.
2.) To get a decent run in the first team you have to perform in the reserves and he NEVER pulled any trees up in the games I saw or read about I'm afraid ;(
3.) Never really rated him tbh, the only reason that ending his contract is a bit worrying is that we lack forwards. Think I would have waited till we have signed someone else. In the long run don't think we'll miss him though.
4.) Against Dundee Utd (who were terrible) he came on and done more than hunt has done in 13 months of being a Leeds player, I'm not saying he's great but a lot better than hunt who gets more chances than any other player in other team in any other league ever, like I said pace, energy, goals.
5.) He needs or needed a season long loan in a lower league to gain confidence and play week in week out instead of the 7 games he played for bury and 7 for sheff utd.
6.) Would certainly play him ahead of Hunt but agree with other comments that for me he's never quite shown the finishing quality and team work that we need to fight our way out of this division. He would be a very good League 1 player.
7.) When he came on against millwall I think he livened up the team and added genuine pace. Not saying he will set world alight but seems better than hunt and as good as the others (apart from Smith) who we have, we have one of the smallest squads in the league and rather than bringing players in we are letting our betters ones go, after the season has opened! did MC learn english by watching Falwty towers?
8.) Take on all your points guys. Agree it wasn't as though he was scoring bag fulls in the reserves. But as everyone points out, other players Morrison, varney, hunt were all picked in favour of him. And he couldn't have done worse than them. Anyway nothing official on os yet. So still speculation.
9.) I must admit whenever I saw him he did liven up the team. Had an impact on other players mentality. Which is more than I can say about. Hunt. Morrison. Or smith tbh! Not saying he is better but just added a bit of belief to other players!
Same with byram. Whenever I see him on tv he is norm our best or second best and he is academy leeds. I would rather try and keep him than any other current member of our team. Show the boy we want him and he will turn in to a batty. Smith. Player for us

Massimo was in the peacock yesterday lunchtime around 2pm. He was with his son and two other guys from elland road. He spoke to a few fans and said a defender is the priority. He also said we would sign a striker this week or next. The landlady said he was in the day before with a dutch player. All in all seems like a really cool guy and willing to speak to the fans and comment on things. Unfortunately the Sorensen deal is now off according to phil hay on twitter.
But the day is here and whether we like him or not or think Hockaday is upto it or not, we are the best fans in the land for one reason! We support the lads that wear the shirt. If they're rubbish but they try I don't mind. So c'mon boys let's start with 3 points today!
1.) The lads were poor today and didn't try. no passion. I agree we have great fans (sadly I was sad with millwall fans as uncle has season ticket and all mates are wall) our fans today where quiet as mice, they gave no signing and looked gutted I think the traverling fans know it will be tough. Comical defending poor set plays, no marking, long ball, no passion and no skill craft of guile worst leeds team and display ever well in my time since 89

3.) Yeah redjim, I was sat at a table and when the waitress came over I said does he come in often then. She said oh yes he was in yesterday with a dutch player but I don't really follow football. Sorry I can't tell you more.

Andrea petagna 19 year old AC Milan striker, apparently could be on his way to us on loan. Some seria b teams interested aswell as seria a but Cellino knows him and likes him.

It's about time a player actually handed in a transfer request. Normally they say nothing but their agent causes issues. That way the player doesn't lose his "Loyalty bonus"

MC says he wants another 5/6 players. With berardi now signed. It's strongly rumoured that we want another 2 centre backs and viviani as a midfielder, so does anyone know what the other positions are or players were looking at?

Anyone think Matt Derbyshire would be worth a look. Available on a free, played well against us at ER?
1.) On that theory we would be trying to sign most of the division
2.) He did look good against leeds but he has not been very prolific the past few seasons. Matt smith has proved to be more prolific than him. I would rather have blackstock back or even james Vaughan or chris o'grady.
I hope we are still after ben pringle and kieran agard, they are both quality players. Agard scored 26 goals last season

Massimo Cellino wants leeds to play similar football to leicester. 4-4-2 with attacking wingers and strong strike force.

Although the rumours of becchio and le fondre seem to arise every window, becchio has played his last game for Norwich. Despite their relegation he slagged off the board and would be allowed to leave for no fee. Le fondre has also let it be known he would be willing to move away from reading.
Personally becchio and dyer ( leicester ) as free transfers I would take n spend a bit of cash on le fondre. Straight away there would be more attacking options and proven at this level and higher ( le fondre )!
1.) I'd take Dyer, but I don't see the attraction of Becchio. Don't get me wrong he owes us nothing from past seasons, but we got the best out of him and he for me is now past it.
