Apparently Adler & Jewish consortium confirmed as owning ER. As for surrounding land, here we go again

sloughwhites

1.) 11 Oct 2014 09:44:07
whos in the jewish consortium

2.) Pappa Smurf owns ER, don't be fooled if its under the name of teak holdings ltd or any other name or consortium.
Hes no fool, just a averisious old toot
He still owns a room at the Chelski and WILL NOT sell it, hence the reason why Chelski cannot extend part of the ground.

3.) Andy you're wrong, Mr 9300 miles knows who owns ER now & it is Jacob Adler & fiends, names unknown atm. I think we all thought it was Bates & Co & maybe wanted it to be but for once Birdseye is not guilty.
No Cellino has a few weeks to do the deal or look even worse than he already does atm. Brining Bates back into Lufc & then not buying ER are going to create a backlash with manysupporters. I truly hope he knows what he's doing & is not playing us

4.) 12 Oct 2014 17:19:40
Slough
Tell ya what mate I won't argue with ya but name your price and I will match it!
Bates fingers are in ER trust me.

5.) If you don't know the members of the consortium how can you say it has nothing to do with Bates. I am not saying it is Bates because I don't know but would bet he is in there somewhere. Most of his enterprises are based in the caymans and have a front guy so no one knows what he is involved in.

6.) I take your point guys & until I was told by certain people I would have said exactly the same. If I'm honest I still struggle to believe it but am forced to simply because of the source being so genuine. As for who the others are, it just stated Bates definitely isn't chaps. Square ball confirmed said piece afterwards too & I know he's not everyones cuppa tea I have no reason to doubt it.
All in all it makes life much easier for MC to get the deal done now. Let's wait n see guys MOT

7.) Yes it is owned by jacob adler there is a consortium, adler is jewish, I don't understand why the religion of the consortium has to be mentioned, it doesn't mention bates is a catholic and so on

8.) I mentioned jewish as that's how the news broke. Don't get why this appears to upset people but hey each to their own opinion I suppose. Might be because Bates is well known enough not to put him in a religious category however we find categorising in many things, doesn't imply anything other than a jewish community own ER and headed by Adler. If you want to push the envelope further count me out. I'm only about lufc MOT

9.) I do not know if it upsets people, it does not sit well with me, the two best chairman in terms of silverware were manny cussins and leslie silver did anyone mention they are both jewish, you said it in terms of religion, instead of jewish consortium, you should say manchester consortium, religion has nothing to do with it

{Ed001's Note - to be fair, and that is the only reason I didn't remove the word from the initial post, every report I had read said the same thing in the papers. I also am not sure why they mention that, it does seem completely irrelevant. Though I suppose they would say it is as relevant as talking about a Chinese consortium or Manchester consortium.}

10.) To be fair a chinese person is from china a jewish person can be from england, ireland, america, holland, the same as a christian, its areligion not a nationality

Hear a whisper from a well informed Milwall supporter they have had an offer accepted for Matt Smith.
Surprised me too & one I really hope doesn't transpire but only 1yr left on his contract & exactly the type of player Ollie would want.
I for one would be really gutted if it happened, suppose we watch n wait for now

sloughwhites

1.) This is what was put on smiths twister 6hours ago
@mattjpsmith: When you're buying a shirt for your nephew & the lady asks if you're sure you want 20 printed as Smith hasn't confirmed his number yet. Umm😂

Take what you will

2.) Ollie. stop pulling our plonkers

3.) You have to ask why he hasn't signed a new contract yet, he was eager to join us not so long ago?

4.) I think the point of the Tw*tter comment is that the woman didn't realise that she was talking to Matt Smith, nothing to do with a transfer!

5.) Not sure this will go away, Smiths contract is a worry tbh, also Ross' s parting shot to Smith of "see you in London soon" etc.
This all speculation but I'm concerned as this source is normally spot on. Just have to wait n see guys

6.) Was at millwall game last night and heard nothing, know season ticket holders and die hard millwall fans they all think it will not happen and I can't see it happening

All over twitter atm Festa will be new lufc head coach, from reliable Italian source so I'm told

sloughwhites

1.) 02 Jun 2014 23:10:53
I was in Pizza Bello in Morley, both realiable and Italian but not an authority on LUFC.

Festa is a non-starter, the new coach will be a brit!

Jermaine Beckford as player coach bruv!

2.) 03 Jun 2014 07:49:00
If its all over twitter it must be right, NOT

3.) Slough
I went into the bookies this morning to back Festa as our next manager and they said we are NOT accepting any BETS ON HIM until further notice!

4.) 03 Jun 2014 12:10:52
Pizza Bello in Morley are Irainian. BTW thier Hotshot pizza is the best ever ;-0

5.) From Uncle Fester to Gianluca Festa you couldn't write it.

6.) He is odds on at the bookies now

7.) Well, Hockaday was all over Twitter too. Enough said. Chapel A

Rumours afoot on twitter yesterday that Harvey had a convo with a ss5 supporter saying Cellino will win appeal hence the reason for Farnan to come out last night. It's gathering pace but as I said I'm not ITK it's just a rumour even though the guy is adamant it's true & conversation took place.

sloughwhites

1.) Can't see harvesy saying anything tbh seeing he will have no say in the appeal

2.) Would it get the football league out of jail - they decline and its get overturned at appeal? everyones a winner!

3.) If he was going to win so obviously why would they turn him down initially?

4.) Yes I can see this happening. An independant body decides on the appeal. If it goes through, the FL (under pressure after the yeung deal (and now prob GFH )) are in the clear!
Win win, which is the only win I can see us getting till next season!

5.) 29 Mar 2014 16:52:38
The independent QC will interpret Italian law and see how it applies to the FL Fit and Proper rules. Nobody knows the answer yet. It's had to see how Cellino will win though. The FL had a legal team look at at already.

6.) Speaking from a legal point of view he has no chance of winning the appeal. Sorry but it's now time to move on although where to no one knows. I have been a fan for 40 years and I have never been so depressed following my team.

Bromleywhite

7.) Speaking from a legal point! when he appealed he is innocent! in Italian law! so to fail him though he is innocent seem's wrong in law! so even saying but this is England and so he would be guilty in England so he fails FAPT does not work he was not tried in an English court, only the Italian court so there laws apply do they not! so he appealed and is innocent so FL has no grounds to fail him for the FAPT that's my view of it MOT

8.) Well let's hope you are right then. Somehow I doubt it. It's over with Cellino save we owe him a load of money along with a whole host of creditors. Looking forward to playing Rochdale next year in league 1.

9.) The FL stated he failed because of this Italian court ruling of guilty! but when he appeals in Italian law he is then innocent! until the 3rd appeal which could take years to hear I believe the not so fit and proper FL used this as a way to block him knowing he would win on appeal just so they can not look bad! win win for the not fit and proper FL as they turned him down to start! just incase he turns into another GFH which I very much doubt as he's loaded and wants to get LUFC up to the prem as that is where the big bucks are so he can get even more money MOT

Great win yesterday, what an atmosphere inside ER.
This is a defining moment in our season, Redders has done what nobody else could, he's got a team of relative strangers playing for each other, for him, for us & for the shirt. The whole team played well & you could see they were determined another Blackburn wasn't going to happen. Loved the big hugs Adryan got from NR & when we scored the team spirit is there for all to see. It's atogetherness I've not seen at lufc in years, this is a turning point in our season, sure we'll have ups & downs but they're in this together & it shows.
The atmosphere on an emotional day was incredible & summed up by FL show & Rams fans, no other stadium & fans can match our support for noise, passion or numbers.
Only Redders could have done this and tbf we've been building up to a performance like this in our previous games. Let's not get carried away butthe potential now is incredible. Warnock leads by example, ooutstanding captain, Mowatt, Cook, Adryan are really taking other midfields apart now & with Antenucci up front we really can expect many more great days. MOT

sloughwhites

1.) To be fair, the players worked for Hock and Darko and played well for, its a matter of time that this side is playing well, Redfearn is fortunate to be the one in atm

2.) I have said all along players do not need time, look at saints they didn't need time. Good players will gel, they gelled before for redders before playing bad for darko. Good players need good shape and game plan. I think they have that now and hopfully consistancy should come with it. I have said for a while I predict a run after xmas hope I am right

3.) "To be fair, the players worked for Hock and Darko and played well for, its a matter of time that this side is playing well, Redfearn is fortunate to be the one in atm"

Give Redfearn credit where it is due, neither Darko or Hockaday had any history or belief in Leeds, neither did they have any idea of what each player is capable of. They had their own ideas, which didn't agree with most of ours.

4.) 30 Nov 2014 20:52:23
Mitch your at it again!
Redders deserves more than the fortunate comment.
Hock! The same Hock who didn't rate Mowatt, well guess who did Redders
Neither Hock or Darko gave Cooper or Byram a chance, Redders has
Hock and Darko rated Morison and Murphy , Redders does not.
Add to that the decision to drop Pearce which all points to me that Redders knows his players and how to motivate them and where to play them.
Still our loss is Swindon Supermarines gain.

5.) Well I'm not going to start to referee here, but it's definitely true that it's taken Redders to get Sam seeming keen again. My money was him being out of the door over the summer. I bet he came close

27 Oct 2014 21:48:46
Hi chaps I mentioned back in September about wanting Morisson to get a chance, got some stick understandably as he hasn't exactly endeared himself to us but I have to say I though him & Ant worked well on Saturday even though it's their first game together & they don't understand each other. They certainly understood what was required by them against Wolves and I believe this should be our starting pair at Cardiff. Morisson offers something completely different to our other forwards, creates, has strength to occupy defenders, good in the air & know how to score. It may be a bit harsh on Douk but Ant prospered so much from Morissons power & intelligent passing. Shame to change it

sloughwhites

1.) Not a morrision fan but I must agree 1st half showed glimpses of potentail good partnership. He was good a few years back and would love for him to return to his full potnetial if he does he will be good for 10 goals and 10 assists or there abouts

2.) 28 Oct 2014 10:29:12
Sorry Slough but I cannot agree about Morison.
On Saturday he had a reasonable first half but second half he was anonymous, just standing about waving his arms and pointing.
My problem with him is that he thinks he is a Premiership footballer, he wants the ball to feet and quite frankly is not prepared to run for it or try and get it.
Too often on Saturday he was walking along the line and he was part of the problem in the second half as he did not close down and just allowed Wolves time on the ball and let them play which put pressure on our midfield.
I will agree with one comment that Morison offers something completely different to our other forwards which is he does not score!
He also has no pace, no passion and for me should have no place at our club.

3.) Liked him a few years back but his performances and coments have NOT helped is cause a lately.

Was his second half performance just down to his on field position?

4.) 29 Oct 2014 00:04:37
He is a classic sub. Nothing more. Too old. Does not have more than 45 minutes in him. Douk and Lucy are the pair but watch Montenegro challenge very soon.

23 Oct 2014 06:28:41
When are coaches at leeds going to see players out of position cost us in many ways. For instance Austin, defensively hopeless, yea tackles a bit but so much better in attacking midfield spot. Berardi left back when he was useless in his favoured rb spot. Cook attacking mf, not at the expense of Adryan, Austin or Mowatt. Cook is excellent at breaking up play & starting moves although he can play any cmf position. Take away Cook & Bianchi suffers with nobody to pass to quickly. Enough square pegs in round holes tbh. Darko must sort this quickly as it's costing us points & team shape every game

sloughwhites

1.) Austin never is or ever will be a Centre attacking midfielder. Hustle and bustle does not outweigh his lack of guile or decision making. Mowatt is too slow to play the transition role between attack and midfield

2.) Notts
Although I knw where your coming from remember
Vinny Jones!!

3.) Ah Vinny Vinny Vinny. Did you see the article recently about him? In his hollywood house, or studio or whatever, he has only1 picture on the wall - him in a Leeds United shirt! Bless

4.) Vinny. U softie you!! Oh that's right. Another southern softie!

28 Sep 2014 03:58:56
Well a really poor day for lufc at Brentford. Completely overrun in midfield, you must win the right to play no matter who opponents are. Where was the togetherness, the spirit, the passing, ball retention by forwards all of which we've had for a few games. So many bad performances and only one player with any credit, Sylvestri.
So was this arrogance because we were winning games 3-0, 3-1, or has the heart been ripped out by new coach & methods. In my opinion it's too early to say right now but if we don't improve again & fast the conclusion is an easy one to make.
This was almost the same side that took Udders apart, ok bench was uninspiring & filling with faces we don't want to see but basic starting 11 the same. Maybe Sloth for Mowatt would have been my choice but wouldn't have made much difference in my opinion. I believe we've been training differently, concentrating on shape instead of passing & speed work. I believe the playrrs weren't happy with the changes as has been reported this week. I also think the players haven't bought into Darko yet but that's no excuse for that performance and I do expect better against Reading at home. Ticket sales for that game at about 9k so far.
So do we call for Darko's head already or give him some time. Not the amount he'd like but a month to 6 weeks to see if he can get them going again. I plump for the latter but quite honestly if it's not right by then it never will be with him.
so let's march on together and see if there is a reaction on Wednesday

sloughwhites

1.) 28 Sep 2014 11:15:45
Could not understand the bench for this match, why bring back Tonge ,Murphy when we have Montenegro, Benedicic. Do not think these were Milanic choices and can only assume Redders had a say in it, strange selection when we were moving forwards so well. Need a striker on bench. Also I have said all along Austin and Pearce are not good enough, not consistent and give a couple of good games then disappear. New coach may have unsettled things a bit but Sloth on the bench was a mistake, Bianchi plays well with him. Well if Milanic is any good he will recognise his best players in a week or two. no service to front two all game, Doukara went looking for it but midfield played crap, need to rotate young ones Cook can't play three games a week

20 Sep 2014 14:35:53
Probably get slaughtered but pleasedto see Morisson in match squad. Did well pre season then injured. Not everones cuppa tea and looks a bit out of place amongst our youth but when Walters is back I think he will be dropped unless scoring plenty which I believe he can.II'm not one for old players but believe he offers something different, ariel prowess & no shortage of skill as he showed pre season.
I'm not saying he's vital because he's not but def think he's good enough for our squad

sloughwhites

1.) 20 Sep 2014 16:05:48
We have enough striking talent not to have to resort to Morrison. As for ariel threat we would have kept Smith but Leeds are now a passing side not a hoofball side. With Antanucchi, Doukara, Sharp, Montenegro, Adryan etc why would we even want Morrison on the Bench!

2.) Morrison didn't want to play for us before so why give him a chance to join the revolution??
As for Smith I'm amazed someone would want him so we can knock the long ball up to him ffs
We are playing football now not hoof ball.

Red bull don't share with anyone. I believe they are just waiting to see which way the FL go with regards to Massimo. If finding agst him owning lufc I believe they'll move with an offer. If it goes the other way they walk away.
There's a reason that RB keep hovering, we're the last remaining club with the world wide support & a history to match it. We are that 1 club left worthy of huge investment due to the returns we'd generate through massive media coverage. We're on Sky more often than almost any other chpsp team & if making the PL we'd be the same there. Most other chpsp teams wouldn't get anywhere near our coverage & certainly couldn't compete with kit sales etc. We are that last remaining huge club perfect for RB imo.
Personally I don't want them but I do understand why they don't leave us alone. POTENTIAL! Over to you FL to decide our fate yet again. MOT

That's a crazy response as we've not even seen him play in first team yet. That's just the ridiculous pressure he doesn't need. We've got many others coming through who have enormous potential & talent eg Dawson, Parkin, Phillips etc. Why some people are making stupid statements which imply we're not good enough without him is beyond me. It's a team game & we're imroving game on game.

His wife & child just arrived. Will take them all time to adjust. If he starts playing well in first team he will feel better about whole situation & MC will make sure he is well taken care of. If he still feels the same next May so be it but he's a professional footballer who cannot stay playing in Brasil if he has ambition so knows Europe is where his future lays. How can we believe press reports as most are wrong when it comes to lufc so stop worrying. We have enough talent with or without the lad

Darko has had a couple of weeks to try various midfield shapes & personnel. We are finally in the exciting position of having enough talent to field two different midfields & two different centre forward duo's all of which I'd be happy to see play & confident of getting a result dependant on whether we're home or away.
Dawson & Adryan played well together so it's not a case of one or t'other as they would make a great impact together with 30mins to go until bedded in enough to start. We can't keep overlooking Dawson even for Adryan as they offer different things. Dawson is really past the U21 level now imo & has earned his place at least on the bench. Adryan needs his chance & MC is going to make sure he gets it now.
As for who plays along side either of them, I suggest we start with Bianchi, Austin, Mowatt, Sloth & bring the ladsoff the bench once Rudy has softened them up in mf. let's win the midfield battle first to allow our gifted lads to show their best. Up front for me Antenucci is def starter & I'd be happy whoever is alongside him. Sharp, Douk, Morisson could all help him score & Vise versa.
Lets make others worry about us & our game changing bench but win the midfield battle first & earn the right to play. MOT

I too see a lot of U21 & again recently dev squad games & have to agree Adryan is quality but goes missing a bit. Dawson, Montenegro, Purver, my fav is Phillips, oozes class & finds time on ball where others don't. Mulhearn & McDaid will make 1st team one day.
Thought Mowatt was excellent yesterday along with Bianchi. Austin did well too but got injured in first half doing that long shot. For the first time Mowatt run the midfield & is now getting it. He really is becoming very good. Antenucci has been so unluckyimo. He makes great runs butwe are too slow to see them so offside a lot. Sometimes that quick forward pass from midfield will put him in on goal. Both Ant & Douk join midfield & help run at defences, ththat's not Sharps game at all but doesn't mean he's not worth his place in squad, of course he is. Now Morisson, I believe if he had a run of games when Ant or Douk are injured he will make you change your minds. He is very good as we saw pre season. Murphy is pants & needs selling off as we have so much betterin midfield as iI've mentioned.
My only real criticism is Berardi at left back. Warnock would have stopped that goal yesterday as he has done all season so far. Berardi is ok but not a patch on Warnock. Did you actually see Berardi didn't attempt to block the shot & that's just not good enough.
All in all really pleased like many on here. It can only get better under classy Darko imo. MOT

ConLufc, although I agree with your sentiments that new ciach gets time wil you stop using Maribor & Champsleague as part of your argument. Maribor win league with 5 times budget of the others, bit of a Celtic thing really. Do we swoon at Celtic managers achievements, No so stop it. Wipe Maribor off his CV & there ain't much there. All that said I do think he desrves a good run of games provided we're not in trouble or he doesn't lose dressing room

I'm getting behind the new coach Darko & of course I have concerns as I would about most new appointments of this magnitude at lufc. To me he's not a great candidate simply because I'd not even take into account his time at Maribor. It's a Celtic situation with only one league winner & automatic European entry. Quite simply Maribor could play any way they wanted & win their league. Since being at Gratz he's not done very well, possibly with poor team so to sum it up he's another gamble imo.
I do think Massimo looks firstly to hire someone submissive so to speak, a nice guy who will take orders without answering back & a fear for losing his job. Darko is by all accounts a gentleman who will be really good for our PR and may even turn out to be a good coach but I'm not being fooled into this champions league experience nonsense as he clearly got in by deed fault. So as I said I will be right behind him & our team because I'm lufc through & through & not because Darko inspires me.
As for Redders, I believe he will be poached at some point & I also think he is gutted at this point, I mean how do you go back to your day job after doing your dream job successfully without regret & being upset he's been bypassed for no good reason. The academy is and always will be in good hands plus any head coach would have a big say in that area too had he got the top job he'd always be in with the youth between 1st team coaching & matches. It's his baby so he wouldn't have just ignored it. For those reasons I can see Redders walking away once a really good & well paid job comes up. No matter what, good luck to him, legend behind the scenes at lufc

I agree Norman, popey & Hay have no opinion or backbone, never have done. It's all basic reporting and nothing more. When asked for opinion they're more like politicians, both temperate men not wanting to upset anyone in case it affects their chances of future jobs. Too many lufc fans up their backsides & can't see we have the worst reporters of any championship side. These are the ones we rely on to put our news to the footballing world but when someone comes at them with an opinion of us they just nod in agreement or say sod all in our defence or put them right in no uncertain terms. They quite happily get flippant with lufc supporters on twitter but when on TV or radio no bottle. If lufc OS worked well we wouldn't even need them or miss them. They rely on twitter feeds from ITK fans or foriegn reporters such as Emanuele to start the ball rolling then jump on bandwagon. Hay is the worst of the two, just a small time newspaper hack watching out for his own career advancement instead of having a real opinion like many top reporters. Useless for lufc but try telling their little posse of arse kissers that.
