Everything has been said about the game and the performance. My criticism is of the awful recruitment that the Club made in the Summer window. Second rate players who are nowhere near good enough. Underwood, Evans and Co should hang their heads in shame.

Yes mate. Woeful purchases. Way below prem standard. A total waste of 100 mill.

100 Mil does not buy you a ready made Premiership team and sacking Farke won’t change anything in my opinion.
It is what it is and has always been, demanding better is not realistic but is a never ending frustration for us fans.
Hope is all we’ve got and there’s no magic wand to make everything better than it is.
Even if we survive this season by the skin of our teeth it will still be be a hard slog to stay up next season, sustainability in the Premiership will be very difficult at best, but always possible.
We can’t rely on quality players because we don’t possess any, we can only hope we have a hard working team who will not accept relegation and a coach that will keep those players motivated and believe they can survive until the last game of the season.
Anything other than that is just a fanciful dream in my opinion and I’m very sorry to say that because it is tough to accept.

We won’t know if a new manager will be better or worse or the performances improve or not until we try.
It’s madness continuing on this path. Losing game after game.
You are right. It’s always going to be a hard slog but the 100 mill was spent badly in my opinion. Considering how much research they supposedly do. I mean surely they could see Perri limitations and that he is no better than Darlow.
I’m not sure if people are making too much of the quality of prem anyway. Look at villa. 4th. We shoulda beat them. They were average at best.
Apart from Arsenal we have been in every game. Just not got the killer instinct and tactics confusing us and the players.

You can only spend what you've got!
And fixed amounts only buy a certain level of player! Is it too complicated?

Correct Aus, Villa were nothing special.

It’s too complicated for them. First signing shoulda been am. Second a striker. And I mean one that scores regularly. Third a decent goalkeeper. Not the word decent. Fourth a cd and fifth a lb. The rest are full ins.
We didn’t need 2 cb. We got amps. We didn’t need two mf we got ao and gruev who are both better than what we got. And we didn’t really need okafar if we’d bought solo and kept largie. It’s really simple.

I guess you can say let’s try another coach and I imagine there’s enough Leeds fans who would want that now. I just feel Farke knows this team better than anyone and if it’s about survival in this league, then I think our best chance is with him.
However, due to the inevitable discontent from sections of the fans on match days, i can see that it will force the owners into panic desperation mode and sack Farke, and the ensuing big roll of the dice commences.
The season is a marathon and not a sprint and I feel there is a chance he could achieve survival.
As much as it pains me to say it, he also would be the best candidate to get us back up if we were to be relegated.
You can’t hide behind the reality of where we are as a football club, no matter how unhappy us fans may feel.
{Ed025's Note - some very good points there OP..

You are correct OP that Farke would most likely get us back up after relegation but you failed to mention that he would bring us straight back again, again!
Let’s keep Daniel and become a perennial yo-yo club!

Panic opti. Desperation. At what game of a season does panic no longer exist for you?

He might make it this season Cork, nobody can say for sure. It’s the gamble the owners have to take, and make no mistake any decision they make whichever way, will be a gamble.
For me and the way I see things, Farke is our best chance of survival in this league, who knows, third time might be lucky for him as a coach, I think he’ll want to succeed this time, I’m pretty sure he will give everything he’s got.

I just don’t get your mindset at all opti. Not saying you’re wrong. Just don’t know how anybody of sane body and mind can post that.
Maybe it’s me.
How on earth can he be our best chance? We are in the bottom 3.
Come season end we are down in the bottom 3. What we got 3 points from 12 or 15. Forget now.
IMO Your post defies logic.

Aus my post doesn’t defy logic at all, you can only make a judgment of Farke for what he has done so far and at this moment in time we are only one goal difference from being out of the relegation zone.
So the way I see it is, so long as we are just in touch of getting out of the relegation zone, we will always have a chance of getting out of it.
Being cut adrift like the teams last season, they literally had little to no chance because they were so far behind.
It’s not easy to judge atmo but I sense it’s going to be a tussle between West Ham and us who gets to stay up, it’s possible Sunderland could also be in that mix as well.
A point a game on average is still the target, if we can achieve that then there’s a chance of staying up.
Switching coaches for me is not the answer to survival this season.
Stay with what we’ve got, be committed, work 110% and maybe, just maybe, we can survive to see another another season in the Premiership.
For me that is the only logic.

Think Brentford will still join the mix too, as well as Sunderland.

Aus. If we'd have followed your suggested signing structure, you'd have just been complaing about not strengthening from the back first. Most in here agreed pre season that it was a sensible approach at the time.
