Morning siblings, bit of a dichotomy we find ourselves in or what. For myself, well, I was happy with DF and the squad after the first few games, we seemed competitive and unified, all good, but then something, I dunno what, changed. Maybe as early as the second half against Wet Spam and now there is a massive disconnect between the fans and DF. The thing that irks most I guess is his point blank refusal to utilise the squad and adapt. Parker changed his set up to play us, it worked, Emery adjusted, it worked, just 2 examples. Again Saturday good first half but no reaction to the Villa changes and then everything too little too late.

Dumping your manager is a roll of the dice, who knows, but DF has to show something to survive, once you get into a poor run of results it's incredibly difficult to turn it around and then if there's something strange in your football club, who you going to call. There is no silver bullet but we are fast approaching the point where a new broom is the only option left to try and clear away the mess, because after the next few games it could be dire. Here's hoping DF can pull a few rabbits outta the hat and with a bit of confidence who knows. UTWDTP and lots of em!

Agree 100% with first paragraph.
But our next three opponents have all shown Signs of weakness of late, so I say kick him out now and see if we can get a bounce and sneak a point or two. Might not. But only one way to find out. believe me, if we can’t beat Burnley etc. farke will get zero against the next three.

Well of course Aus you have to factor in the fact that all things considered, we have about as much appeal as a ten to two bird at a nightclub ?.

What happens if the new gaffer doesn't get a reaction? Doesn't get bounce points? How long before the impatient become restless and start baying for his head? We biffing him, and all of a sudden, it's 6m down the pan which would be a great loan fee for a capable striker?!
Playing devil's advocate now, as I honestly don't know what's the right course of action for the club to take at this moment.

Not even sure there is a right way.

I’d give the new gaffer 3 games before I start getting miffed ?
Nobody knows if we will bounce or not and you are right, it’s always an expensive risk, trying a new manager. Shorter contract so pay off Dosent hurt that much. Lower salary heavy on win bonuses. ( not like dcl ? ) .
But it has to be done. And should have already.
