Brian McDermott will have to wait until Ken Bates leaves his role as chairman on the 30th of June before he can sign Noel Hunt.

Bates will not rubber stamp a deal to sign the 30 year old on a 2 year deal worth around £1.5 million including a £250k signing on fee for Hunt.

Because he holds the lead chair his say is still massive in anybody we sign expect a lot of movement from July 1st.

Also contract on the table for Harry Forrester at Brentford, Leeds and Brentford have been trying to thrash out a deal for the compensation Brentford will be due but clubs are miles apart at the moment Leeds offering £350k Brentford wanting nearer £500k
expect this to go to tribunal unless another club matches Brentford valuation.

You haven't a clue, absolute poppycock.

2.) 22 Jun 2013
Think 14k pw is a bit excessive for Noel hunt personally

I'm sure someone posted that there would be no compo as forester was at Cheski as a kid. It wouldn't suprise me if he did come to Leeds though I watched him play in the play off semi. He's not lightning quck but he is not slow very tricky puts good balls in the box as well. He got taken off in both games though and he had Swindons right back on toast may have a fitness issue, looked a v good player at that level though.

Forrester is out of contract! He's a free to whoever he chooses to sign for. Get your facts right. Somehow this devalues the rest of your post.

Harry forrester has already signed for another championship club

Actually if you read the post and do the Maths it's £12K per week. I'd say that was realistic for Hunt.

Bates has f*ck all to do with the clubs money now so stop spouting sh*te.

8.) 22 Jun 2013
8 more days and bates is gone!!

Even though KB is still chairman, considering the fact that he won't be here or have any say in anything in just over a week's time suggests to me that, on a practical and long term basis, no decisions he makes at this point (if any) will have any bearing on what LUFC do.

Forrester will be available for free as he is a product of the Aston villa academy. Interestingly he turned down Ajax to sign for Brentford so he may have the right attitude and want to play football rather than earn £

Bates is old news!
The fact is ( not FACT so listen on!) the transfer window doesn't open until 1st July. That isn't to say deals can't be done but this must have some bearing on the timings of certain transfers.

You obviously haven't been around very long if you believe that?

Untill Bates is ACTUALLY totally gone (FACT FACT FACT!) he will ALWAYS have an influence on Leeds.

This is totally true, because whether or not he has any control over the club, there are still thousands of supporters, me included, that will not return to Elland Road untill he IS gone!

You can say all you want, but as a Leeds supporter of almost 50 years standing now (well at least most of it's been sitting down lately) I still have a problem with Bates being 'self appointed president'.

Now if GFH tell him to do one on 1st July we have a totally new ball game, quite literally. From that point in ER will be filled, top to bottom, front to back.

If you were a true Leeds supporter you would support wether Bates was president or not. More sh*t excuses not to go
