In all fairness there could be some truth in this because despite McDermott saying there won't be any signings in before Leicester the odds on Le Fondre signing for us in this window have been cut tonight from 6/1 to 4/6 on so could happen. Personally I think it would be a great signing, proven goal scorer taking some of the pressure off Ross

Think the fact that Smith is banned for 3 games now, might force a rethink. on the no-one in before leicester statement from mcd

Just because McDermott said there were no new signings doesn't make it true. Managers always say the opposite to the media.

Smiths red card and appeal failure could well force McDermott to sign somebody as we don't have any striker options, well not realistic ones

Now Reading don't have Billy Sharp anymore Le Fondre is starting games for us again. So can't see this happening! Dream on
