{Ed013's Note - Good afternoon Ladies and Gents, I thought whilst the speculation of the takeover circus is going on we could do some background activity with some Leeds United polls. My first one being who is the best player to have ever worn the white shirt? I will put all of the answers together and conduct a poll shortly. Thanks in advance, MOT}

1.) 04 Feb 2014
SIR BILLY!

LUFC KK

2.) 04 Feb 2014
Bill Bremner and John Charles

3.) 04 Feb 2014
Sir billy of bremner

4.) 04 Feb 2014
Lee bowyer lol o.j

5.) 04 Feb 2014
Tom Jennings 174 appearances, 117 goals!

6.) 04 Feb 2014
Johnny Giles

7.) 04 Feb 2014
Not being born in the bremner era I've not seen him play except for clips .he looks good but for me its got to be brian deane

8.) 04 Feb 2014
Barn Door Billy!?

9.) 04 Feb 2014
Be more interesting to conduct a poll on the 4th best player as top 3 are way too obvious, namely John Charles, Billy Bremner and Peter Lorimer and in that order.

10.) 04 Feb 2014
Well Thomas Brolin wore the largest shirt

{Ed013's Note - ;-)

11.) 04 Feb 2014
John Charles. Why bother with a poll?
CityWhite

12.) 04 Feb 2014
LEE BOWYER

13.) 04 Feb 2014
ROBERT MOLANAR (THE TERMINATOR)

14.) 04 Feb 2014
04 Feb 2014 14:26:44
Michel Platini! - JC & BC testimonial

15.) 04 Feb 2014
Got to say Johnny giles!

16.) 04 Feb 2014
Paul Okan

17.) 04 Feb 2014
Tony YEBOAH

18.) 04 Feb 2014
Harry kewell was different class above many who wore the leeds shirt in is days at leeds unbelievable talent still remember is screamer against villa to this day! Quality! Mot

19.) 04 Feb 2014
Not old enough for the great team of the 70's. But I would say from what I have seen either Bowyer or Cantona.

20.) 04 Feb 2014
Billy Bremner is obviously a legend but he was before my time (he died when I was five). In my lifetime I would opt between Lucas 'the chief' Radebe and David Batty.

21.) 04 Feb 2014
It's got to be The Chief Lucas Radebe

22.) 04 Feb 2014
Hi ed. Its got to be billy bremner. From john Charles in a close fought contest. I see someone out lorimer as 3rd. That's ridiculous. All he had was a powerful shot. Was prob the least gifted footballer on that team. I would put the late great bobby Collins in 3rd. I have seen them all ed. In 68 years old. And the fan who said Brian dean. Surely he is joking?
Bob. Wakefield

{Ed013's Note - Some really good answers from fans of all ages, I will keep this going and then limit it to about 10 players and set up the poll}

23.) 04 Feb 2014
Best player for me was Becchio!!

Only Joking got to agree with the ones above - Billy Bremner and John Charles

24.) 04 Feb 2014
Best of the last 10 years - Robert Snodgrass.

25.) 04 Feb 2014
Jacob Burns

Cheers

Tone

26.) 04 Feb 2014
The legend - folklore each one of these is that for different reasons-Don Revie-Albert Johanneson-P Reany, and hunter, cooper-Johnny Giles best thing ever come out of man utd-Eddie gray-Gary mcAllister-Gary Speed (RIP)-Batty-Sniffer clarke (FA cup winning goal) and a special mention Les Cocker.

27.) 04 Feb 2014

33.) 04 Feb 2014
Gary McAllister

34.) 04 Feb 2014
Tony yeboah= best customised goal scorer ever lived!

35.) 04 Feb 2014
Beckford

League 1 genius. Class act and his cup goals were heroic.

36.) 04 Feb 2014
In terms of skills: Eddie Gray
Injured too often though.

37.) 04 Feb 2014
In my era, in any order. Sheridan. McAllister. Strachan. Viduka.

38.) 04 Feb 2014
1. Giles
2. Bremner
3. Clarke

It was just an era where Leeds were at their pinnacle. and sniffer were such a goal engine.

I do have a soft spot for the O'Leary european adventures and wilko's championsip winning team. heck I was also going to name me first born "Jimmy Floyd" and me kids a white white.

But Revie era for Leeds unsurpasssable. but then. hopefully not.

39.) 04 Feb 2014
Hate to say it but for me it has to be Cantona

40.) 04 Feb 2014
Billy best player ever for me, though sniffer is my all time favourite.

41.) 04 Feb 2014
Eddie gray was an incredible talent

42.) 04 Feb 2014
Tony Currie walks on water!

43.) 04 Feb 2014
Billy bremner

44.) 04 Feb 2014
Totally agree with crmd

Different Eras, its hard to pick best player.

ED maybe you should have best 70s best 80s and so on.

Alan Clarke
Johnny Giles
Norman Hunter
Peter Lorimer
Duncan Mckenzie
Billy Bremner
Trevor Cherry where do ya stop then into the 80s OMG ed lol

{Ed013's Note - Its very difficult mate, a best player from each decade or from a fans era makes it just as hard}

45.) 04 Feb 2014
Best ever: John Charles. Best of their eras: Billy Bremner, Tony Currie, John Sheridan, Gordon Strachan, Harry Kewell, Robert Snodgrass. Honourable mentions: Eddie Gray, Tony Yeboah, Mark Viduka. Chapel A

46.) 04 Feb 2014
Not Cantona in his time at Leeds. Tony Currie? Duncan McKenzie? Eddie Gray?

Lee Chapman Tony Yaboah Jimmy Floyd Viduka?

Strachan McAllister Bremner?

BREMNER Its Bremner

Fawksey

47.) 04 Feb 2014
In my era of 10 years it honestly has to be McCormack in terms of quality, but Beckford and Becchio were more consistant

48.) 04 Feb 2014
Paul play me anywhere madley

49.) 05 Feb 2014
Although a Cardiff City fan, I reckon the three best United player are a Welshman; a Scot and an Irishman in that order.
