Becchio rumoured to be target to return on loan. Agree if you'd have him back, disagree if you wouldn't. Personally I think we need to forget about him and look for better

1.) 16 Feb 2014
He is too good for us, that's why he left to get a numb arse sat on the Norwich bench, let him stay there.

2.) 16 Feb 2014
To the guy who says to let him stay there. He went for a pay rise and who can blame him, would you say no to a business who were prepared to double your wages? NO!
Get off his back, he was good for us, he still loves the club (even though they paid him peanuts), so if Norwich are prepared to share his wages, why wouldn't you have him back, he can score in this league.
Get a grip or are you still waiting for us to sign Dzeko or similar

3.) 16 Feb 2014
Leave him at Norwich. We have as good as him already. The future will be better at ER soon.

4.) 16 Feb 2014
We cannot pay the wages of the current squad members, rumour has it that their performances of late are because they haven't been payed, sorry but forget any new faces until new owners are in place MOT

5.) 16 Feb 2014
Ye ok he wanted more money so he moved on,, but hasn't got games under his belt, so i'd think it would be a bad move for Leeds, just to lazy

on the eve od deadline day Ross McCormack specifically said that all the players were paid on time, so stop making these pathetic statements
about the players wages.

Have to agree, he wanted away LET HIM ROT ;(

8.) 16 Feb 2014
Why did he want away? It was to get the chance of playing Premier league football and to better his salary and at his age who can blame him. Ok so it hasn't worked out for him,, if he wants to come back I will welcome him back. We know what he can do, score goals and that is what we need

9.) 16 Feb 2014
He was a poor excuse for a footballer. OK, granted he scored a few goals but his first touch was dreadful and all he did was fall over looking for free-kicks. If our future rests on bringing him back then draw the curtains and say goodnight.

10.) 16 Feb 2014
2 points here both involving Ross . Good point about Ross already dissing the payment rumours, so why is someone trying to stir this up again . Secondly Ross did exactly same as Becchio, said pay me what I'm worth . Becchio was top scorer and while he will never be the most technically gifted player he always put a shift in and did what a striker is paid for . Scoring (take note Hunt, poleon, Morrison etc) . Ross was lucky and so were we that there was cash to extend his contract . Becchio wasn't so lucky, had Colin forcing him out so he could get 'future legend' (FFS) Morison in! Never thought he was a traitor, would welcome him back on that basis . HOWEVER . Can he still produce the goods? Well let's face it no one else can score except Ross and wind assisted Warnick, specially not Hunt so I say give the boy a chance!

his knocking on abit now his a form striker he would take loads of games to start scoring like 15 can we waste 15 games of this season

When we had becchio and he was banging em in I bet u was all slagging him off and saying he's rubbish wasn't u? No thought not u was cheering his name and was gutted he left. Bring him back. Him and Ross up front would kill em off. And with the 2 wingers we have now feeding the ball in becchio has that aerial threat too. Forget about smith for that he's good to come off the bench that's it

14.) 16 Feb 2014
Regarding wages yes they was paid but not by ghf Cellini paid last months wages like
flowers and haifh had paid the previous 3months wages

15.) 16 Feb 2014
Having watched him many times at ER I can say he was very poor indeed
No pace, poor touch and zero creativity
Scored some pens and headers and people think he is a world beater
The reason he is on the bench at Norwich is because he isn't good enough yet people want a 31 year old who has played three games in a year to come back the player he was when he left
Leave him, he made his bed

16.) 17 Feb 2014
I agree with LUFC TY. His pace and touch were both slow and poor. He owes the club nothing, he did give his all for LUFC, but it showed last season how poor he was becoming. I thought we actually got the better deal when we swapped him for Morrison, not that, that worked out either. Can't knock him for wanting more money especially when he wasn't breaking any pots.
