Bit of a Friday food for thought. Now I don't want to lose Taylor and I'm not sure Monk will let him leave on principal at this point if nothing else. That said, with us needing a ST and us rebuffing Borough's £7m bid, is there a case to be made for offering Taylor and £1m/£2m for Rhodes? We could also pick up Verboom who we looked at in the summer for around £2m. That gives us one of the best ST's in the league and replacement LB of similar pedigree (Belgian youth international) for between £3m and £4m. Surely a cracking bit of business if went for it?

Agree with u gummie. unless Taylor signs a new contract just get the cash while we can.

yeh but is Verboom good enough. I mean will he hit the ground running. Taylor was back on form before injury but i must admit i like the idea of Rhodes for Leeds as the lad can score. Then again be hard to drop Wood?

Think we've proved tonight we don't need the suit maker. We would miss his attacking runs down the side lines but can't turn down £7m plus

I was dithering but now I think, take the 8-10mil for Taylor and invest it where necessary, but only with Quality. We are not desperate. We already have more than competent back on our books.
