Honestly think if Rads does not put in the investment needed to get up in this window, he is absolutely mad and will be to blame if this opportunity is not taken. All this talk of punching above your weight, you are where you are in the league on results and after 26 games we are top and deserve to be, because we have won the most points . There are 20 games left and we need to continue to be able to perform and play our brand of football for all of these games .

So no blame in your opinion for bielsa who has said he doesn't want or need players? You might think you know more than bielsa leeds1970 but I prob think he's forgotten more than you and I know about coaching.

In bielsa I trust.

Martyn is right! Absolutely no point in buying players that Bielsa doesn’t want. He is so specific about how he plays and the qualities that he wants. In summer he has a lot more time to mould players but not now. Bielsa has to be honest about his squad and what he wants and then see what happens. We probably will never know the ins and outs!

Other thing to bear in mind that given the regime of the team under Bielsa, not every player will be up for it. So some will rule themselves out!

Think MB said he was happy with the players, because he did not want to undermine the current players confidence by saying some of them might be replaced . You offer any manager the option of better players and they will want them, it goes without saying. You just don't want to undermine the good players you want to keep.

He also said January is never a good time to buy players because you pay over inflated prices. If players are really that good their teams don't let them go in January unless offers above their worth come in.

Bang right Martyn, and Spanish. That list of players is zero. The style and pace of MB’s game plan means that no one can walk in, in this window, and be able to play at the same level of the players we already have. Money would be wasted, on anything but a GK, and even that person would need to have the distribution skills that have made Bailey our #1, and to be fair, for his flaws, there are not many keepers who can do what Marcelo asks for from the GK position.

it is possible to make signings and not out them in the team immediately though. there are still plenty of games up to May and nowt wrong with bringing someone on board and working with them on the training ground and U23s for a few months then bring them in to reinforce us during the run in.
