Billy Sharpe has got his starting place for Saturday after Modine was red carded. Ayling and co will need to be very disciplined, no silly rash fouls, Sheffield seem to get their care share of penalties. Not really bothered what Norwich do but need to better or match Sheffield Utd s results. Would take a draw.

Mezzer, a match for cool heads and that’s not going to be easy. Fans need to be fervent and patient as well. Sheffield will want to restrict and frustrate us. Their game against Brentford showed how good they can be defensively and still be dangerous on the break. Be interesting to see how Sheffield play it, do they settle for a point and hope to make up the gap in the other games or do they go for the three. A draw would seem to be less of a problem for us than them. Big Psychological advantage to go into the break in the top two positions.

I'm still wondering how Brentford never managed to get a penalty or two 😉.

Why did we not hold onto Billy Sharpe?

He couldn't handle the pressure at Leeds 😁.

Al, he only scored a handful for us I think (Barn Door Billy 2) . He was rumoured for a few seasons then when he came to us he flopped big time. I was really looking forward to his arrival as I thought he was brilliant. In regards to the result on Sat. I think a draw would be a real disappointment for us. This is one we should win. To be honest if we can't beat them on Saturday we will struggle as we have basically the same run in, but teams seem to give an extra 20% when they are playing us and the refs probably give the the same 20% more decisions to the other teams. 3-0 on Sat and then another 15 points on the run in will do us very nicely I think. MOT.
