Of the half dozen names being bandied about for CB I have no preference I do however prefer that any move is swift and decisive. Too much have we shilly-shallied allowing the enemy to jump in and beat us. Let us quietly decide our target (s) and quietly negotiate and loudly anounce our new signing.

Really think white is his replacement, we were short on cover even with pontus . Doesn't seem much rush to bring someone in for bielsa's pre-season. Would not be surprised with no one coming in, but using what players we have. Not learnt much from last season!

Mezzer I am sadly afraid you may be only too right. Surely MB can see we need a Rock at the back an old head to bring on the kids and mop up Coopers mistakes. Williams, Cahill, etc. There are a few out there. Just hoping right now that White is the real deal from day One.

I could see White talking over from Phillips. In effect White is an upgrade/ replacement on Diaz.

I really can only see us getting some more players in as replacements for Phillips and Roofe, don't think despite all the rumours that we will sign another centre half. Bielsa likes his small squad of players so we were told, so can't believe anything will be different. The rush of players we got in last week was done with the Knowledge that Bielsa was letting Pontus to (IMO) . Can't wait for the season to start now, was expecting good things this season after coming so close last time, but as usual we operate like it's pantomime season. We always seem to go two steps forward then call in a big hole.
