Not the news a lot of us were hoping for re; timescale of bringing in a new CF and LB.

Beren Cross is reporting a back up GK is going to be our next signing (wild guess that it's Ben Foster in a GK/ GK coach role. ) Pwr the article:

"Irons remain in the fire on transfer business for Leeds United, but a goalkeeper looks likely to be the next addition at Elland Road. A striker and a left-back have been mentioned as targets by Jesse Marsch too, but a back-up stopper is understood to be the next arrival.

It remains to be seen what Leeds do in attack and at left-back. Deadline day is four weeks away and with so many moving parts in the transfer window, a lot can still change.

The money is there for a forward to be signed before the window closes, but as was the case with De Ketelaere, any target would need to tick a lot of boxes and Leeds are prepared to wait. No left-back has been credibly linked with the Whites thus far and it remains to be seen what progress the club have made in that department. "

Looks like we are going to be waiting a little longer for thise signings.

Was hoping we could get a deal sorted ASAP for a LB, as I think that's the priority.

Hopefully taking time to get the right targets pays off instead of knee jerk purchases just because we are a bit light in certain positions.

Dillinger - while the itk local journos seem to be feeling there is very little in the offing at the moment, with GK likely next one in, it is always possible that Orta is keeping his cards so close to his chest on the CF and LB front that even these journos are being kept in the dark as to what he’s currently up to - things may or may not be closer than Beren Cross and others currently believe.

Will see Clu. Be nice if there was before Sat, but if not I can wait as long as it's for the right players.

Yep Clue. As you call them the “ITK” journos more after than not, know nowt. They get it wrong very often, and as for Fabrizio, I’ve seen more insight on bog roll.
