My thoughts on the recent moves for both Bamford and Vydra. I think one of two things has happened

1. Bielsa gave Roofe the chance to impress pre-season and isn't convinced therefore looking to sell and replace with Bamford.

2. A club has come in for Roofe (West Brom maybe? ) with an offer we decided was good value and Bamford is straight replacement for Roofe moving on.

Because personally, I think having Vydra, Bamford, Roofe, Roberts is a little too much if we play with one up front. So many of our young forwards IMO look ready to support the first team so three main forwards with Clarke, Edmundson, Dalby, Temenuzhkov in support would be fine.

Don't believe the Vydra deal will come off myself. Money still seems to be the sticking point mainly his wage demand. Can't see anyone else lining up to sign him or he would of been snapped up by now.

Always been a case of 'playing for the shirt' not 'paying for the player' here at Leeds, rightly or wrongly?

Very sad this week to see a true legend pass and now see these mercenaries think Leeds should pay whatever they want and some of our supporters thinking this is okay.

Yes, we want promotion, but not at a price that leaves us bankrupt if we don't get it?
