Think it's ominous now we'll after sell before any incoming loans we got Bielsa sorted early but would like 2-3 in in next fortnight before our trip to Aussie land, anybody on here lucky enough to be going over besides our fans that reside there.

Kly, I thought about it a lot, love Australia and I’ve never been to Perth. But the way I thought it through was that not going covers the cost of a season ticket for next year and I get a whole seasons football! Plus!

Most of his goals at wolves were free kicks samo but his delivery at Leeds hasn’t been as good as it was for wolves.

Being pragmatic, we had the third best team in the league last year. I don't see that we need too many additions.

I know Biesla said he doesn't think he can go any better next season if he has the same squad. but. I would take 3rd next season and hope we are stronger in the play-offs, as this time we were only bad for 35 minutes of 2 games.

Last season we brought in 4 loanees and I think we all agree that none of them pulled up any trees. Just imagine if only 50% of next seasons loanees make a difference. What an improvement that will be

A majority of posters are of the opinion that Shakleton was vastly underused (I am in that camp) , so there is another quality addition to last seasons squad

Jack Clarke, due to his unfortunate illness, only had a cameo. So imagine how good a slightly older, slightly stronger, slightly fitter and slightly maturer Clarke will be.

And for the life of me I can not see either Roofe or Bamford returning as bad a conversion rate ever again in their whole footballing lives.

Of course this is provided we hold on to the "crown jewels".

If we can sell all those players that we honestly know are not going to play for us again (but are blocking the development path of our current U23s &U18s) and just loans 4 players again next season I think we have a hugely impressive squad

Tried to think about players that failed to take their chance at Leeds:-
Coyle
Beradi
Pearce
Denton
de Bock
O'Connor
Shaughnessy
Kitching
Anita
O'kane
Sakho
Ekuban
Grotts
Wilks
It's a radical list but maybe we have to be cruel on some of these players to be kind to our Academy players
Also, what do you reckon the weekly wages are for these guy. one good Prem player who is desperate to write his name in the Leeds history book?

Great post axe! When you look at the names and see the contracts you see where some of the money and financial commitment has gone. Strip it back and give space to the lads to develop and take opportunities. I hope we have a home based preseason programme that gives these players a chance and allows people to see them. We have a team f young players used to winning, used to extra time, used to taking penalties, let’s use them.

i agree with axe 100% on that

get rid of the dead wood as dramatic as that seems I would maybe only keep beradi from that list for his versatitliy and he can do a job against the lower league teams as filler but i worry when he plays the better teams but if we get a good bid then great

then promote the youth and add 3/ 4 singings and we should be ok, i think the league will be weaker this year but always hard to call

for me a good cb, left wing, replacement for pablo long term and energtic mid and we should be good (unless roof goes then add striker as well )

Apologies, just realised I missed Ideguchi and Cibicki off the list. God we are subsidising teams as much as Chelsea do.
