BIG QUESTION who's happy with what we have?

I feel confident in the ability of the retained players and the ones brought in. In true bielsa style and to quote mick ( there better than what we currently have / had.

Whatever we have I will support them, as I always have, ups and downs. MOT for ever.

Ttiao this morning I wasn’t sure what to expect but tonight I am excited with what we have! I’m really looking forward to seeing what Eddie can do! A lot of Arsenal fans predicting good things from him! Has an excellent record for young England levels I’ve heard! Think we have some exciting players to look forward to. Think we might be a little exposed at times at the back but should be great to watch again, hope the heart holds out! Come on let’s smash the championship this year! On and on.

{Ed047's Note - as an Arsenal fan I think Eddie will do really well for you guys, had a great pre season with us and starting to look really good.

As a certain Staffy would say: bring on the champions!

We had cash to spend so disappointed that we didn't bring in a couple miore quality signings that we actually own and would strengthen the squad - particularly defense and GK (i. e to replace Casilly. Think we have brought quality in but not just not enough numbers. Praying the youth are ready. If we go up this year the loans will all look like great signings and very wise - if we don't it is a huge mistake. heck of a gamble.

Eddie will be a good addition will be interesting as to where Bielsa plays him. Goalie a weird one as we already have two good young keepers so what is the point in loaning this guy, will he even get a game? Some very strange decisions this window, shame we could not afford to buy any one though as will all need replacing at end of season.

Very happy, Alf not sure how many of the youth Bielsa will need or play apart from, JC, shacks, Leif and Bogusz, who seem to be the chosen ones. Pascal, I think could cover for CB, but it looks like Bielsa doesn’t feel he is ready yet and will use, Cooper, White, Beradi, Ayling, Davis and KP ahead of him.

Bud, got a feeling that Bielsa doesn’t feel Miazak or Huffer are ready to be number 2 and possible 1 at some stage of the year. Might be wrong but I think tall Frenchman will be on the bench.

We worry about the youth stepping up but don’t think Bielsa will need to or want to call on many. We have Ayling, Roberts, Beradi, Frenchman and Eddie to add into the starting lineup or bench, that can only mean more kids dropping back.

TTIAO I'm happy with what we have but 3 things.
1. Window could've been a little better. Radz being too slick and canny for my liking. Could put in a bit more funds to hit that window harder.
2. Didn't like our conduct with Kent treating him like a contingency. There's reports Liverpool kept holding out for a higher fee but don't buy that. Sounds like a cover story. Day or two before window closes it was good as deal done.
3. Some of our offloading appears hurried and too bargainy if that's even a word.

I agree with RHC and Wex overall just not as vociferously. However, I also believe quite simply we're good enough for 2nd place in the league.

I am very happy overall but deeply unhappy at cb and think in football one weakness can be enough to cause problems

I think we will play great football but ultimately our defence will cost us then loan players leave and our starlets get sold often for too little money

I just can’t see our defence being good enough to cover all season.

Doubt if the youth will get much game time myself. Team is good enough to be in top six if this gunners kid is as good as they say. Defense still my worry but think we will be putting the chances away this time round so maybe not as big a problem as i see it to be. So yes fully behind Bubs and the team.
Radz however is not my favourite bloke, Kinnear is smarmy and when he comes to thee fore with excuses i know it is bull. Yes he does want us to go up but its all about money to him, minimal outlay maximum profit. I have to laugh when they start going on about FFP and how careful we need to be, even Barnsley are spending and they will have nowhere near the revenue we bring in.

There has been some good additions, the lad from Arsenal is a very exciting prospect and we could do well. I worry a bit that we haven't brought another CB in, as injuries and suspensions will come. I feel the same as Bielsasbud regarding Radz, would have liked a signing or two permanent, not loans. As for Kinnear's waffle, I have read enough of that in the matchday Programme. But it is done now, so 100% support for the team starting tomorrow. MOT.

Cork It's how I see it, just being honest. Kind of a mixed bag. I repeat I believe we're good enough for 2nd place in the league come the month of May 2020. Signing of Eddie tipped the balance.
