As you know I'm a big fan of Pascal Struik and still think he could be useful this year should the injuries and red cards kick in!

I did think that success for him this summer would be to get bench time. Not sure that will happen now, unless it's emergency time! But actually success is probably still to be here when lots around you have gone. Wonder if he might get the under 23 captaincy?

Yes Alf, certainly should be at all the Aug and Sep games. First game is 19th Aug 1pm Thorp Arch against Bermondsey’s Boys!

If anyone else is interested the fixtures are now out on the official site. 3 games planned for Elland road in Sep!

With the players returning from injury, the extra players in the first team squad and all the youngsters, we should be putting out a good side.

For me letting Odour go was a mistake as the two in front of him are both loanees in Clarke and Harrison. Same with Diaz, improved tremendously as DM and ideal cover for KP. As i have said before some strange decisions made regarding youth players this window. Even now Bubs plans to use Ayling or KP at CB if needed and Dallas as RB. so Gotts and Pascal do not look like stepping up anytime soon. Bubs has a rep for playing young talent but appears to be not ours. Last season Clarke and Shacks got time but for me were under used.

Now Clarke has gone and looks like Shacks will struggle for playing time. Not saying players like White and Nketiah are not an improvement just see no reason in moving players from their natural position to cover injuries just weakens team. At a loss of why we loaned the young goalie if its not a loan to buy. Basically saying Miazek and Huffer are not ready or not good enough. Know they are young but so is this guy. Anyway onwards and upwards, 4-0 Harrrison, Bamford2, Nketiah.
