In all probability he's going to start Patrick tomorrow with eddie on bench you would imagine, as it stands and just say patricks barren spell continues for a period of time, how long should he keep faith with him before giving Nketiah his chance as main striker? Could it be a case of every single point dropped is a problem or do any of ye see the league being a yo-yo between several teams vying for the title?

We have two strikers and both have a major role to play if we want to be top 2.
While we might be frustrated with and for Bamford, still think he can come good, he's well capable of 15 to 20 goals this season.
It just never seems to fall right for him.
Sometimes Strikers need time to bed in. His path has been rocky. We need him to bed in that little bit more and his team mates to create better chances.
Alioski against Salford and in general, his crossing can be woeful. Just hit and hope and most times it does hit, the first defender! that's no good .
We ping the ball around 35 yards from the oppositions goal .
But after that we do not produce the killer pass often enough. Like the pass for Eddies goal the other night. We need these quality balls far more not as we have regularly seen, some very poor hit and hope crossing.
If we can improve this area of our game we will be a very dangerous side.

It's a smart tactic because Eddie represents a competitive threat to Paddy's place. Either he starts scoring regularly or he knows he'll soon find himself on the bench. Should act as an incentive for him to turn it on in games.

Agree George. Eddie scoring the other night also should have him busting too perform and getting the goals everyone wants . thing is. If not playing well. Don’t leave it till 5-10 mins to bring either Costa or Eddie on. Give them a proper go to make a difference. at least 30 mins.

ya my take is same as Georges, hopefully even Eddies presence on the bench is the fuse that lights paddies goal scoring fuse . We really need to turn the high stat percentages into the most important stat ( goals ) . Last weeks game should have been killed of early doors but our lack of goals reared itself again and cost us 2 points.
