Fair post Bermo, didn’t think it was that bad actually, played a lot of good football again, still not totally falling into place and pablo did have a bad day, but we won it. Their red card still didn’t stop them threatening with corners and set pieces and all of those provide good practice for the defence.

Bam bam in the right place at the right time and showed a bit of old fashioned centre forward aggression in bundling the ball over the line with gk and 2 defenders trying to stop him. 2 goals are 2 goals. 1 a game average so far this season.

Harrison, running hard at defenders and taking them on and growing in confidence.

Foreshaw seems to have been dusted with Bielsa magic dust this summer, aggressive tackling, sometimes too much, 3 yellows so far, but appearing all over the pitch and might even get a goal soon!

Pablo had an off day, but what Bielsa wanted was to be able to win without depending on him and we did.

The Spanish comparative performance indicator has us on the same points total in the same games as last year but with a good of plus 3 better than year. Next up two games which we lost last year!

seriosuly my post was not about the game as I didn't see so couldn't comment, but many reports said we didn't play that well so i will take that

in an odd perverse way i want a few games where we play bad and win, everyone knows we can play well so good to see us grind out results and win ugly as that is the difference between Arsenal and the teams who finish above arsenal and can be the difference between going up and losing in the poxy playoffs again.
