While I think it's funny as hell that the wendies look like facing charges for FFP (must be the Monk effect) , do find it strange that both Derby and Villa didn't face any charges from selling their grounds back to themselves. FFP must only apply now in Yorkshire.

Dunno about Derby, but Villa appeared to escape through promotion, and being outside of the remit of the EFL. Surely there should be links between the PL and EFL!?

I’ve always thought the same Bright. Same game same country same rules. Bit of a nonsense really.

Wolves can be added to that list too I think.

My hope is Villa get punished when they drop back down retrospectively so they drop down again. Will serve them right.

Apparently QPR had to pay 40 mil when they returned from Prem. So I think Villa will be done next year when they drop. let's hope so.

Sheff Wed facing charges on the timing of the submission of their sale into the accounts rather than the inflated price. Derby's sale was included in the 3 year window therefore deemed fine.

Doran the punishment fit the crime though when they have already benefited from their illegal gains and will have parachute money to help out weight they drop? They should have been stripped of promotion.

Notts, more a creative way of bypassing the rule by Derby, doesn't make it any more what the call Fair Play. Sure if Leeds had done it the league would be bringing in a retrospective change of rules to punish us.

Stating the facts Mezzer, doesn't mean I agree with it.
