Not against a Che Adams, or similar; just question the wisdom of chasing an expensive (cost and salary) premier player when could we not look at putting the money into the top goalscorer in D1 or D2, or even some corner of Europe? Maybe have some money left over to buy a CB.

Every player is a risk however I feel that a player who has experience in the Championship or a level above is a more calculated risk.

Loan signings with option to buy might have attracted the right sort of aspiring premier league players and fitted our finance/ business model . until we did the Eddie and Jack C stunt and didn’t play them.

Now both Prem managers and players will be wary of heading north only to not get minutes on’t pitch and career CV lines saying “played understudy to a championship player in a team that failed to get promoted”.

Sadly, we really do need a bit of cash deployed and the deals need to already be lined up. because they take time.

Bielsa also doesn’t stick player straight out int field neither. look for a month after signing to get Bielsa-team-level fit and work on his role in team.

Sorry lads. but this is looking rough at the mo’.

Someone like lassoga is it leodis? Surely we have had enough of the garbage, so let's just get a proper pro in and stop mucking about.

No not a Lassoga but I feel the law of averages states that, within the thousands plying their trade throughout Europe/ the World, there must be one worth a shout.
For Lassoga read Massinga (better still - Radebe) . Just means we have to look a little further and a little harder.

am i the only one who liked lassoga. on his day he was unplayable i would have him as back up to bamford and belisa would get more out of him than previous manager did.

Bermo
Totally with you with the Lassonga comment. He was like a poor mans Viduka on his day. Strong, good first touch and an eye for goal. With a top manager encouraging more work rate the guy would have had every chance of doing well. After all Bamford wasn't know for his workrate pre-Biesla.

Lassoga was tremendous on his day but sadly that day was only 1 in about 20.

Harrison is on loan
White is on loan

JH didn’t get a start immediately

Now he’s a mainstay and no doubt Bielsa has added value to his worth to Man C.

I think Brighton will be pretty chuffed with what Leeds have done with White

Maybe MB didn’t see enough to give JC and EN more game time

Difficult to judge from outside.
