Today we played away from home against a good team with two excellent wide players. We contained them in the first half and in the second half we were the better team. They were even time wasting. Yes, Costa should have had a penalty and their goal was handball. But away games like this are about taking chances and I'm afraid Bamford failed us, twice. Yes, Kane should have been booked for the identical foul that Dallas committed and got booked for and Wells should have been sent off for a second yellow but at the end of the day, Bamford's job is to convert the chances that come and we would have got something from this game. Phillips tackle was lunacy and will cost us but no doubt born out of frustration. Orta looked lost at the end. Beaten. Andrea - you have got to buy a proven striker by 31January.

Converting chances is a problem across the board right now. Ok, Bam should definitely score the peno and when thro on goal, less so his other 2 chances, but what happened to the 16+ Others that fell to other players? They are accountable too. We just cannot covert to save lives at the moment!

Leodis - if someone with cash to spare wanted to buy a second tier club with massive commercial potential, wouldn’t they have done it by now? Seems to me potential buyers are waiting for us to be promoted first - but they will also have to pay more if they buy when we’re up and AR must know that - so he’ll make considerably more than the 15-20 million he needs to spend now. I felt there would be an injection of some cash from a potential buyer this January to speed the process along but it doesn't appear to have happened - not yet anyway - and time draws on.
