It’s quite hard to stay positive on reflection of saturdays loss. Yes we are still 2nd, but the gap is closing rapidly. To me it’s not about the first half of a season it’s about the 2nd half, it’s about the run in and finishing the marathon strongly and in form. Which as we all observed last season we did quite the opposite and it appears that we are possibly heading the same way this season, however we hear the 3 wise men stating that the hey learnt lessons blah blah blah yet here we are on the 20-1-20 2 thirds of the way through the window and still nobody in to add to a squad that looks threadbare and tired. Jesus we can’t even get this 19yr old goalie and a Man City reject with a seemingly suspect attitude signed. We need to be hitting peak form through feb March and beyond and I fear that the lessons certainly have not been learned what so ever they have 11 days left, and I would say we need. 2 strikers ( forget bamfords misses, he grafts like hell but he is shot the kid is knackered) a goal scoring attacking creative midfielder, another defensive mid (we only have Kalvin ) and a natural left back and centre back.
That’s 6 new faces because we are so thin on the ground and the fact he sticks to the same 11 they all look jaded. If we don’t achieve promotion this season then it will be years until we have a genuine chance again.

Agree with your thought process but we are never going to bring in 6 players.

Notts I agree that they will never bring in 6, it’s just my frustrated observations mate. It’s getting a bit squeaky bum time with florists winning again yesterday! Fulham look dangerous as do Brentford . Our board surely can’t drop the ball again.

Yes they can. It doesn't help when you have Mr Soundbite Kinnear tell fans that we are not dicking around with the playoffs. Actions speak louder than words.

Totally agree with regards to old Angus, Notts. What does he actually do?

He never says anything of any note or interest ever! He’s like ya mate in the pub who you told a joke to and by the end of the evening he tells you the same joke back as his own.

Radz May have got many things right but Kinnear and communication are woefully short of what our club should have, deserves.

My sister has a friend who works at the Club's commercial department and although describes Kinnear as a nice person, his main focus is the real estate. Other commercial related matters i. e. charity matches he has little interest in.

Notts When I come across printed quotes from Kinnear, I always think of the former Iraqi minister of information who proclaimed they weren't under attack with tanks passing by visible through window behind him and mortar shells going off in background.

I’ve come across Kinnear under one of his many many directorships he is involved in, he would beat Mr Monk in a race under a closed door. I also have a mate at West Ham corporate hospitality who hasn’t a good word to say about him. My personal differences aside. what does he actually do?
