Anyone else think that this suspension could be a good thing?
Last season one of the factors preventing us going up was burn out. Chance to get Phillips fit again. Chance for Klich to recharge his batteries after all these games. Chance for Roberts to get fitter. Maybe even a chance for Augustin to get fit to take part this year.
I know we have great momentum but its not all bad!

3 scenarios seem probable
1- season is completed most probably in June or July- the epedemic is only going to get worse for some time
2- season is not completed and declared void so we have to start again in championship- most likely IMO, EFL will love to punish us as usual
3- season stutters on, unlikely.

Totally agree, Whitey. As long as the season does restart, (and finish) the break will benefit us more than any other team in the league. 👍💙💛💙.

Interesting times!
I admit there are possibilities but I think if we don't get a chance to finish the season then there will be different things to worry about!
I would imagine that they would either take league as it is or get some computer wizzkid (hopefully not from Derby) to predict the finish either way we would be OK.
The only scenario I am concerned with is that put forward by Italy that the top 4 teams play off.

If they were to take the option not to promote I believe that there would be some huge lawsuits from Leeds and WBA and any other team missing on millions of pounds
Would be time to maybe use those from QSI!

Whitey - in the unlikely event that they decided to go with computer prediction, why would they need to reinvent the wheel. There are at least two existing sets of staying boffins who have created computer algorithms to generate such predictions. Both of those two have us and Baggies some way clear. (so harder for others to quibble) , albeit not in the same order. I'm sure we'd be happy to be declared joint winners - They also have a common set of four teams in the playoffs - however those were to be sorted out - Bees, Fulham, Florists and out of nowhere, thanks to Agent Matt Smith's heroics last Friday, 'Wall. It would be hard for other teams to argue with the first three but doubtless Brizzle, Preston, Baadiff, Swans and Blackburn (and probably Derby 'cos they like a good moan and despite their incredibly tough run-in would doubtless believe they could've made top six) would take issue with 'Wall.

Good knowledge Clueless - I was referencing the option that Italy are considering to resolve the Winners of Serie A by taking the top 4 teams and letting them play off.
Knowing how much the EFL consider us their Cash Cow I would think they would look at all options to keep us in the league.

Honestly if a ball isn't kicked I think we would be promoted as you say.
