Good news potentially

Leeds Plus reports with photos of the Leeds United pitch being resurfaced today as interim measures till the end of the season

And then the pitch will be resurfaced again during the summer.

Seriously though, is it even possible to relay a pitch in just 2 weeks? I planted some grass seed in Nov and its nowhere near grown yet.

Don’t think it’ll be one of those Hybrid pitches which are a mix of plastic and real turf, they are the best surfaces these days which have much better drainage and recover much quicker after a match. They apparently take up to 6 weeks to lay. It’s good they do something though because that pitch is an embarrassment and definitely doesn’t complement our style of football.

I think they are just trying to improve drainage issues as best they can! A major upgrade will only be possible in the summer! Weather recently in Yorkshire not helping either!
I think the players are starting to let it bother them now!
Maybe we can ask to play the rest of our games away from home!
