No Liam Cooper on this list Ed001?
One could suggest that he has had a better season than some on this list?

{Ed001's Note - this isn't about who has had the best season mate. And Cooper is not that good, so rash and clumsy. He loses the plot for minutes at a time and starts running round like a lunatic hacking at anything within range. If he could get that trait out of his game he would be a very good player. Someone needs to teach him how to count to ten and calm himself when his blood is up.}

For sure Cooper does lack technique and finesse but does elevate himself with full blooded commitment. Cooper has definitely reached his limits and I can’t see him improving anymore at his age. Big question for us Leeds fans how long has he got left with brighter prospects coming through the ranks rapidly and what we have already recently acquired as CB’s.

Agreed Coops can at times still be rash and clumsy Ed001 ; he has certainly improved a lot over the past 2 to 3 years though.

{Ed001's Note - he has but I am still not seeing a top class defender there, sorry Baz. I was hoping I would, because I saw a lot of the 'League One Liam' digs at him and I like to see maligned players do well and prove people wrong. Though, to be fair to him, to a degree he has proven people wrong as he is defo better than League One. He is one of those defenders who can do a job in the Prem, but you wouldn't want to rely on him every week. But that is a lot better than a League One player!} Become a Patron!

There’s a number of us who believe Struijk is improving all the time under Bielsa, you can see he does have great potential. Roberto Martinez already stated that he was very impressed with Stuijk’s play and said he would like him to switch his nationality from Dutch to Belgian as he was born there.
