Good review Ed, but talk about the world of football then and now. perfectly encapsulated by the Neymar cry baby story and the Legend that was Bill Shankly and his insistence that Liverpool could not afford NOT to buy Ian Saint John.

{Ed001's Note - Neymar drives me up the wall, he is the embodiment of all that is wrong with the modern game. Sadly the game has changed and most of the change has not made it better. I fear this pandemic has seen the beginning of the end of a 92-team football league pyramid system in England, as finances have been hit so hard. A lot of ground has been lost to esports as well. It is worrying times for football, so to see that tit Neymar whining because the PSG fans are not telling him how great he is for doing a little bit of training does annoy me, to say the least.} Become a Patron!

You’re so right Ed

Throw some agents into the mix, allegedly our keepers agent is spouting about all the top teams wanting his client after only a few months into his first full time contract!

There was a good programme on BT sport after Citeh game last night covered how the fans had been ostracised, marginalised from the modern game.

But that the average fan, ultimately still holds the greatest power as we’ve seen from the football without its supporters isn’t sustainable nor marketable.

Sadly i’ve seen estimates that up to 60% of the current 92 face a genuine risk of failing, many of whom annual budget probably would not exceed Neymars monthly salary, that’s not progress!

But when you read what Barcelona with the help of the Spanish government are up to with regards to FFP again sadly not surprising.
