Overall, probably the best team of the tournament actually won but a big shout out to the England team. They did so well to reach the final. Let's all day that they lacked experience and it just came a little too soon. A ctually we did well to beat what even the Germans consider a poor team. Were lucky to get a soft pen against Denmark and bottom line couldn't even beat the Jocks. No, all in all we overcharged but with a few tweaks we could be again a major force in World Football. Most of our players are good, but not great, and even the great up front was firing blanks. If it wasn't for Sterling we would have been lucky to survive the Quarters.

Disagree. Italy second best team but with the best manager. Our players are great, if not great they're certainly better than just good. We have excellent players just with an inadequate coach from the vile.

From a neutral supporter!
2 subs that went sideways. I’m almost sure that the lads on the pitch would’ve scored. They fought for that 120 mins.

My best wishes for this team. We supported you, Really disappointing it went that way.

KP - congrats for the lad. Stay in this great club and you’ll get only better.

At the end of the day I'm not too upset with how everything panned out. I predicted Italy to win the tourney before it started and I predicted the result tonight. It always felt a tournament too soon for this squad for me, not because of quality but inexperience and a lot of new partnerships. Most of this squad will play the next 2 or 3 major tournaments (walker maybe the only exception and i wouldn't rule him out of next summer at the least) , the world cup we will be better, euros after potentially better again. Rice, Philips and Mount will be scary if they stay together for the next few years.
