Really hope Charlie Cresswell is first choice for Leeds next season looks very assured with England u21s. no need to send him on loan . he's ready for the first team now. MOT.

Cresswell proved that he is ready in the Spam game this season! And never got a game after that. You think JM is going to start him next season! If i were him or JG i would have requested a transfer.

Hooksie - when Joffy joined us he will have been told what the Club’s plans were for him, and wouldn’t have signed if he hadn’t been happy with them. The minutes he was given last season will have been roughly in line with those plans, and he would have had more but for a couple of niggling injuries. Therefore, on what basis would he have wanted a transfer. Cressy has said recently he would like more game time next whether here or on loan, and is happy to go with what Marsch and Orta decide on that - he sees his longer term future here, with the Club he supports - so not sure why he would have requested a transfer either.

I’m pretty sure Marsch will want him loaned out for a season for some experience. I have no doubt he’s going to be a top CB for Leeds.

Llorente, Koch, Cooper, Pascal, Firpo, Ayling playing CB, Foreshaw, and your telling me he couldn't get more playing time looking at the packing order before him. We conceded 79 goals this season Clue! BUT, the names above explain why! No wonder it went to the last game.

No Hooksie, I’m not saying he couldn’t/ shouldn’t have had more game time - just that he sees his future here, so why would he have asked to transfer away at this stage of his career - as a Leeds fan yourself, you should understand that.

Chances are that, unless we sell Llorente or Koch, Cresswell will get a loan next season - preferably to a decent Championship side pushing for promotion (maybe Huddersfield, as Corberan knows Cresswell well from academy days) rather than to lower Prem, as we wouldn’t want him to be helping the likes of Forest, Fulham or Bournemouth to stay up.

replace cooper with him and I think we are covered, but then again we still have Roberts maybe he can defend better than he does in the other half of the field.

CA - They will want 2 naturally left footed players within the 4 senior CBs. I guess the current intention/ hope is that Hjelde will step up as backup to Struijk when Coops leaves that group of 4 - possibly at the end of next season and obviously dependent on how Struijk and Hjelde develop during that time.

Struijk needs to step up after a poor season. The lad has bundle’s of talent and really needs a good pre season as I think he’s a confidence player.

Agree Cork. definitely a confidence player. And everyone in that team had their confidence shot to pieces last season. We all know, that Pasc on a good day, is top quality. He needs to get back to his best and stay there. I’m sure he will.
