I've tried to sit back after last weeks game and let the performance go. The win was good the way we controlled things again good. The performance as a form of of entertainment was dull.

Playing a poor side in Cardiff and them going to 10 men I think made a lot feel as we should have put them to the sword.
And under a certain manager not too many years back we probably would have done.

Bogle was constantly in space on the right. He only got a few decent passes. Also largie on our left was up against a booked rb for most of the game but firpo on most occasions turned and played back.

Farke talks of teams being in a rhythm but what is he going for? A rhythm of passing back and sideways or a rhythm of making chances and getting a few goals through the team. I know the pressure of managing leeds is more than Norwich. If Norwich go up with him at the helm it is a supreme effort. If he doesn't succeed at Leeds it is a failure. Could the fear of failure explain such displays as Saturday?

I think if we are to go up this season we are going to see one or two displays like this at Cardiff. It was dull negative football. We won and that's it. I am disappointed with the manner of it and our inability to take teams apart even with such an advantage. Hopefully our new players Ao or rothwell might add to the attack . We will see.

On to Coventry. They will give us more to think about defensively and maybe a little more room in behind.

The next 4-5 games will tell us a lot Ben. Boring but 3 points is right.
Nothing against the bloke. He seems decent and honest. In my view he hasn’t got what it takes to get us up. He seems clueless on tactics and subs.

With Norwich it was a matter of going all out for the win. With Leeds it’s good to win but do not lose. Different ideal and fear does come into it. It shouldn’t.

As prev stated. I personally think he has 1 possibly at a stretch 2 defeats left and his gone. Don’t mind the bloke. Bit boring and repetitive but if he ain’t able. Find someone that is not scared to manage Leeds. Porky wasn’t scared. That’s why he got us up. Just burnt us out as his norm. Let’s get a happy medium.

Ben, would you not consider that after losing arguably our three most influential players that Farke is having to recalibrate his team. Perhaps the rhythm that you mention that Farke is trying to achieve is just simply getting his players playing with more synchronicity, as it appears to me at the moment they are not quite there yet.

I think that more free flowing play will come, eventually. It can appear a little turgid, but keeping possession is an important process in getting where we need to be.
Give it a bit more time and I’m sure we will see a difference.

Whatever anyone says breaking down low block set up teams is never easy and Coventry will be no different on Saturday. However, I do accept us to cause Coventry City some serious problems with our attacks, even though some of our players are clearly still bedding in.

Asides from possibly Tanaka . not sure who is going to orchestrate more free flowing play OP?

And no need to mention Solomon. slow and permo crocked.
