I'd love a couple of big name signings but under MC I can't see it happening, he sees this as a waste of money it's just not the way he works.
Think of the past the likes of Brolin-Fowler-Keane we wasted some serious money, not only in paying millions for them but we were even paying there wages when they were at other clubs.
On account of the above wouldn't it feel a lot better if MC found us 2 or 3 300k players and turned them into £10mill pound guys like he's been doing for the last 2 decades!

I think you're spot on Andy. Seth Johnson £9m says it all really! I think Salerno will prove his worth over the next two years and will unearth some gems. Just because no-one over here has particularly heard of them doesn't mean they are crap players. Honestly, who heard of Silvestri before we signed him and he's tipped for the very top and I also think Rossini will be a top player too.
Plenty to look forward to this season.

I'd love it too but can't see it happening. We need to balance the books first, get stability on and off the pitch & then kick on.

I agree guys and i'm guessing half the players he brings in will be mediocre-good with the odd superstar so be patient lads.
One things for sure under MC if they don't earn there keep it won't be long before there butts out the door.

I just think that once the guys get to know each other as the season goes on then the team spirit is going to be fantastic this season. With a bit of tweaking here & there although I don't expect promotion this season we could surprise the doom mongers & do quite well. Fans could have a big part to play so let's ALL get behind the lads. MOT
