I hate to bad mouth ex players but Ross has got on my nerves with his comments. Sick of some people thinking they are some kind of messiah, saying he was forced out and told to hand in a transfer request. It's utter nonsense, trying to get sympathy saying he was happy but in the same sentence saying he didn't like what was going on at the club. Who does he think he is? I for one appreciate the contribution but he gets paid enough money for it. Players get paid to play and that's it, whoever the manager or owner just play football and keep your mouth shut and count your lucky stars that you play for Leeds United. This player power nonsense needs to stop and in Cellino it's going to. And that's why he's in a hump because Cellino treat him like any other player. We got 11 million and he swapped clubs heading in opposite directions, rant over.

Well said Vinny
A true professional would keep his mouth shut, but that he aint. All sorts of stuff goes on behind closed doors and that's where it should stay. Just shown his true colour, and it isn't white 1

Ross left because he was big headed one good season and though he was something special, which he was for last season. He knew he was not going to be cop idol this year and left for the money. He thought he was spokesman for the team and he was not. He had a new contract all he had to do was play football he did not want to.No one made him put in a transfer request, Fulham were interested and he was told if you want to go put in a request, he did. How many of us think he would be an automatic choice now we have Antenucci, Doukara, Sharp, Montenegro, because I think he would struggle to get in the team. let's see what he does at Fulham.

Coulbn't agree with you more vinny. We are over moneybags ross, seems he's not over leeds though. He doesn't love leeds at all, i've seen video footage and photo's of him talking to hockaday durring training, so when he says he was told not to train, HE'S LYING

7.) 07 Sep 2014
Cheers lads, in all honesty he lost my respect when he was live on tv. He said I would of gone if I knew Mcdermott would be sacked, what about your contract!

Vinny
You ever thought McDermott might have been dumping Ross's rubbish for him lol

9.) 08 Sep 2014
I have to stick up for ross slightly (only sliightly) ross was at leeds and not doing great in come McD and ross lit up the league and was playing out of his skin. all jobs are about relationships but guess football maybe more so. if at a job you lose a boss you like and at a later point get in a boss you hate (hock) you might change compaines. also I believe ross wanted to get prem football with leeds, when that looked unlikey he took a more promising option which hasn't panned out. but can't blame him for leaving leeds it has been bit of a circus and when he did finally go we had worse manager in the league on paper in the hock he was clearly clueless. if ross I would of done the same. as for badge kissing I think he loved the club but as people do you fall out of love . I use to kiss my mrs now I try and avoid it

B
Dont forget he tried to leave in Jan but it got blocked!
Ross had troubles mate and if you dig deep enough its NOT hard to find out what they were but I wish him well in his future career.
Pity he had to come out and say the things he did, no need for it IMO.

Agree it was not right for him to come out and say what he said, he has always been to vocal on twitter etc. not sure how certain we can be that he wanted out in jan he did say he didn't want to go and might of changed mind when mcd got sacked which again I can kind of understand. not saying he is right but I wish him no harm and grateful for his service to the club
