Watched Adryan carefully last night, at times he reminded me of Alan Smith.

Redders looks like he is feeding him on raw meat.

Adryan will only get better.

Alan smith? now I had alan down as hard working, tough, fit as a butchers dog but no flair or talent and very poor scoring rate for out and out striker who offers nothing else in the way of flair and creativity. What little I have seen of adrayan is full of skill, creatvity and flair but poor staiminer and not hard working or in it for the team which is the exact opposite of smudger. wondering if your thoughts of smith is different to mine or if I have adrayan wrong which is possible as seen little of him

Bermondsey you are right my friend, Adryan does look a little like smith did but in terms of how he plays that is it, I can't see any real connection. Smith was a worker and an agressive tackler + fit like you say (Adryan ain't). Adryan does have potentially real skill with some nice flicks here and there (smith didn't).

I can't see Adryan scoring many (oh that is a bit like smith ha ha), no I liked Smith he made the most of what very little he had so fair play

If we had 11 smiths we would have have 11 honest players with not much else, we would have to play the hoofball people hate as we would have no abilty to pass, we would also suffer as we would have no big man up front and a very small goalie 11 smiths would make confence at best :P

Loved Alan Smith. Gutted when he left. And I agree Adryan will not score loads of goals, but he will bewilder defenders and get us plenty of free kicks in juicy areas

If we had 11 smiths. We would t need to hoof ball cause we would win 90% of tackles and run and work more than anybody else and scare a lot out if tackles

Am I missing something smith who with viduka and kewell won the old first division? getting smith muddled up with rod wallace which is understandable as they look similar only difference is rod could score got a goal of the season and was a constant threat smith was over rated goalscorer whoes goal rate once he left leeds speaks for itself. and win the league agains beckham giigs and scholes. true not many players can say that certainly no leeds player or smith can say that, that is for sure :)

Smith was one of fergies worst buys, any stirker who is signed then has to play as defensive mid because he is that poor up front can not be seen as good signing can he? also what's all this about winning the league and won the league against becks, giggs, scholes etc you do know that isn't correct right? that's why I thought I missed something?

Andy what? I can't remeber the football we played in the 80's as was born in 83 and didn't support leeds until 89/90. from that point on my football knowldge (or stats anyway) is very good as I have great memory and i'm sad and look things up. I have never said can not remember the 90's, that is not alztsimers mate that's called being a toddler :). also what's this red herring and biting all about andy 1 bw 0, firstly I would like to disagree with this score and take it to the dubious goals pannel, also I didn't realise we were playing against each other as I thought we were both leeds fans suporrting the same team :) back to smith yes bad buy by fergie think most would agree he was a man u flop

to me it feels like Andy dropped the ball and tried to turn it onto Bermondsey. Very witty reply by the way BW. I did not realise people were keeping score if you ever need a judge to look over procedures please let me know, more than happy to re-don the wig and dust off my gabble. Sorry been reading over this and it doesn't quite make sense Andy. firstly I have never said I do not remeber leeds football in 90s (you always repost things when I make comments yet no repaste here?) also even fans who do not remember 90's leeds would still probably know leeds team that won league. I do not remember revie era but can name team. also mentioning smith who played in 00's makes no sense. like mention radabe playing in revie team the dates are not close. I think you made a genuine mistake and like the judge said tried to put it on me? what do people think? OPA judge dare I say BW 1 andy 0 game over?

well looking over the evidence I have to side with Mr Bermondsey I am afraid Andy. The evidence would suggest either a mistake thinking Smith was part of the title winning team as the story of it being some kind of bate doesn't add up at all in any way. As Mr B states not knowing about 90's leeds would still not put smith in that team as you know about 00's leeds. Also seems a very odd thing for Andy to do in the first place to be honest. Still we are all leeds and our motto is marching on together not trying to catch out people with fake stats. mr B 1- Andy 0
