Well, for what its worth guys and girls, I think the LFU buyout was never going to happen and in that scale was an impossible dream and would not have worked anyway. Buy a small stake, have a say, great idea. Massimo will say and do what suits at the time. let's just get behind the lads, support our team to the hilt and let off field matters take their course. MOT.

Totally agree vid, never going to work and thwaites saying there will be angry fans if he sells to anyone else would probably got his back right up.
We need someone with vision and money to go forward.

vid, I agree. I think that maybe the LFU sale was Cellino just being Cellino and said he would sell to the next person that asked him, whoever that may be. In the cold light of day when his brain had caught up with his mouth he decided, selling at cost was not his best option. He may be sly he may be slippery but he is not stupid (well not that stupid) . At the end of the day LUFC is an investment and as such a return is looked for.

Totally agree, need someone with lots of money consortiums, groups etc never get far. I think lfu should be looking at buying a smaller share to get someone on board. If they were certain they had funds to buy why were they begging people like Crowe. Now Cellino should stay away from ground and get on with it. Look at Lerner, Glaziers etc got a lot of stick from fans but clubs still successful.

Veiled threats as implied by Mr Thwaites were only ever going to do anything other than irritate Mr C to the point where he might pull out the rug from under them - as he has done. Perhaps just a reflection of someone getting over excited.

Interesting that Mr C is alluding that the content of conversations were not necessarily in line with what has been claimed or reported - though could always be down to the substance having being lost in translation.

Have to say that were I in his position I would not be prepared to offer exclusivity until such time that the intended purchaser could satisfy me that they had the wherewithal to complete any transaction - and I suspect that despite all the talk by LFU, that was and still is, not the case.
