There are a few suggestions we should sell Snoddy. Personally I think we should keep him remove a captains arm band that's weighing far too heavy on his shoulders, bring in a leader and allow Snoddy the freedom to move where he feels he is best to show flair and attack. From there build around starting with the back. Players with passion and foresight and with a football brain. Look at our positioning when we lose goals. Look at our plays look at how other teams build from the back. Observation observation, observation make the players watch reruns of our matches the full 90 minutes hoofing the ball up field targetting Bechio is our only answer! Why? Ibe mentioned them before Swansea ! Win lose or draw they don't change their style even when they are losing this is not rocket science. So why is it for pur players?

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Because Swansea have better players than us and got a settled side, dont expect miracles next season, will take time to forge a stong team,

Agree1 Disagree0

I think snoddy should keep the armband but I agree he's played badly lately. It is worth noting though he is the player who has a member of his close family who is very ill at the moment so maybe he could be let off at the moment. I do think that he shouldn't be playing as it is quite clearly distracting him.

Agree1 Disagree0

Time for snoddy to take his place in the prem league no point holding him back. i would like to see him stay without been captain but cant see him signing a new contract . take the money bring in 3 new players on higher wages and get to playoffs .we can all dream

personally i think our squad should be like this next season

Lonnergan ( yes he hasn't won everyone over but was amazing up to his injury vs donny and took a bit to regain form, but he constantly makes great saves and even cassias would struggle for a clean sheet with our defence)

Lb- white (start/sub)/ robinson (start/sub) to shut the game up or reversed for when we need some fresh pacein the final 20 mins

cb- lees cb- hill cb- o'dea-chambers

rb- gunter- steiinson

cm clayton clingan cohen thompson

lm rogers, possible gradel return pugh

rm- snoddy( if he stays) mcleary taarabt/ mackie

st becchio mccormack somma fortune

Any opinions ( based on our budget)

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Taarabt would never come to us, he's too expensive.

Agree2 Disagree1

Jonny greening, kenny, jay bothroyd, jason koumas, beckford, mcleary, j rhodes, matt mills, d ambrose, r koren,Rodriguez , p whittingham. these r the kind of players leeds should be signing

Agree4 Disagree2

Trade snoddy for taarabt?

Agree3 Disagree1

GK: Paddy Kenny (Undisc)
Def: Lees, Steven Taylor(C) (Undisc), Clint Hill (Free), Robinson (Free)
Mid: Snodgrass, Clayton, Clingan (free), Ambrose (Undisc)
CF: Becchio, Ched Evans (free)
Subs: Somma, O'Dea (free), Elliot Ward (undisc), Brown, Neil Mellor (free)
McCormack-SOLD.
Don't want him to go but suspect he wants to move on or he doesn't like NW or NW doesn't like a small striker.
Ambrose & Snodgrass to keep swapping flanks during game.

Agree0 Disagree5

Very ambitious

Agree2 Disagree0

Steven Taylor! The Newcastle defender! The best defender in the premier league!? You goose!

Agree2 Disagree1

Yes mate Steven Taylor, Newcastle defender, long term ruptured achilles tendon injury. Newcastle are looking at buying a defender from Twente for 4mill. Pardew might be a bit cautious about Taylor after such a serious injury. You never know they may sell him or loan him out for the season.
I'm just saying he's exactly what we're looking for with the tiniest chance of getting him.
If you don't ask you don't get.

Agree0 Disagree2

I believe there were 5 players warnock said he wanted to build his team around and they were mccormack, snoddy, white, clayton and o'dea. On YEP website a few weeks ago.

Agree1 Disagree0

McCormack's going nowhere you plum.

Agree4 Disagree0

Mccormack as been the best player this season even without scoring his work rate is great. if he goes i would be very dissapointed.

leeds have had3 players sent off in they last 3 games it,s not because were dirty it,s because we are to slow to many players who not up to the task of playing for such a big club only think 4 or 5 players will be there next season

schmeichel
--------------kisnorbo white
snodgrass howson johnson gradel
becchio beckford

how do you think we would do with this team in the championship? instead of losing all our player for peanuts, keep them. Also, the reason i left most of the back 4 empty is because grayson didnt make one significant defensive signing during his time.

Believable6 Unbelievable3

We'd be in the play-offs no doubt

Agree4 Disagree1

"One significant defensive signing" is in your team - Kisnorbo. Injury-free he was awesome.

Agree5 Disagree3

There's no point hanging on to players who don't want to play for you

Agree3 Disagree1

Every one of them are the past, need to look to the future,at least Smiths name hasnt been mentioned thank God.

Agree1 Disagree0

The only one who asked to leave was Gradel, and he already admits he regrets it! If we'd offered the right money the rest would have stayed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats the point in listing players we have had in the past.... cos if thats the case the starting 11 would be

martyn dorigo kelly woodgate radebe kewell bowyer bayyt dacourt smith and bridges etc. u get the jist! stop living in the past. were leeds utd NOW not last season or any other season!

Agree1 Disagree1

Just a small club in a big stadium at the mo hopefully we can wake up and climb to the top again

NWs comments......

“The end of the season can’t come quickly enough,” the veteran manager said.

“I said to (Derby manager) Nigel Clough at the end, ‘Enjoy this, Nigel, because you’ll never see another Leeds United team or a Neil Warnock team like this’.

“We had a lot of players playing today that know they won’t be here next season. We’ve not got enough Leeds United-type players.

“We don’t revel in the atmosphere and that’s what we will do next year. We will revel in it.

Ha ha ha Leeds come on u need to watch the rams and watch a real team . WITH REAL FANS where were u all at the match ??

Agree1 Disagree2

At the end of next season we'll be 2 leagues above the rams.

Agree2 Disagree2

Not there as the season is over, therefore we are saving all our money to spend on tickets next season when Warnock will have rebuilt our team and we'll destroy teams like you over the two matches.

Warnocks crap - Graysons better, Warnocks great - Graysons rubbish, crap squad, crap football - Hang on everybody; chill out !.......... Look at the club, what we stand for, the history, the fans and No one can disagree Leeds Utd under Warnock is a better attraction to players than Leeds Utd under Grayson wether you like Warnock or Not, put yourself in a pro footballers position this summer... would you not now look at Leeds and think i fancy joining such a great club under Warnock, just having Warnock there will attract higher profile players than we currently have, has anyone ever thought how many of the big names mentioned during the past year would have joined if weve had had Warnock then, how many would have stayed - WHY do you think they all left !!. There will be one huge clear out and a massive overhaul v soon, would Grayson have done that if he was still there or brought in the same level of player that we currently have. !! Give Warnock a chance to get in his players and then judge... it could be worse - the season has finished, shoe shopping with the Mrs on a Saturday afternoon, wet summer and a predictable England performance at the Euros and yawn the Olympics !! - get behind the boss in the remaining few weeks of the season.

Believable6 Unbelievable5

I think your right about Warnock attracting better players. He's been in management since before I was born so I imagine he has far more contacts within the world of football than Grayson had. Also he doesn't like the loan market (unless its an emergency e.g poor defense and no time to buy), so he's going to have to try harder than Grayson (who liked the loan market) to sign permanent players.
Looking forward to seeing who goes and comes in - Think we could be pleasantly surprised.

Agree3 Disagree1

Although i agree with NW having more pulling power than SG that for me isnt the issue - it's bates! any player could think Leeds United under NW is a more attractive club than under SG but when he sits down with Bates and get's offered a laughable wage/contract does teh manager rteally matter?!

i think that's been the problem in the past and why shoudl that change now whoever we have in charge!

i hope i'm wrong and NW does get the backing from Bates but i'm certainly not holding my breath.

Agree3 Disagree1

Warnock is an excellent negotiator. expect one or two surprises in the summer.

Agree1 Disagree1

Im afraid the modern footballers only question when deciding if to sign is how much.
and then they go to leicester or west ham or wolves.

Agree1 Disagree0

When will people realise that paying wages we can't afford is what got is into trouble last time and is currently causing problems for the likes of Portsmouth and Rangers. The club can only offer contracts that won't put us in jeopardy should we fail to win promotion. We haven't got parachute payments like West Ham who can afford to continue to pay high wages, or a rich benefactor like Leicester.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't forget players come with WAGS if they don't like the local area, thye player don't come

Agree0 Disagree0

We're paying about half what we can afford in wages. Look at the accounts. Too much investment in the half-empty ground and money going to overseas companies for my liking.

Not been able to get to the last couple of home games for various reasons but having read the reports in the paper can anyone confirm that there are some players still out there on the pitch and haven't all gone away for an early holiday.

I'm thinking their bodies are on the pitch at least but it seems that most of their minds are on a beach somewhere enjoying the sun. Really looking forward to the end of this season hopefully not sliding too much further down the table and then a massive rebuild in the summer and pushing on next year.

some people are still blaming Grayson for the squad Warnocks been left with which i think is stupid, Bates knew he would have to sack Grayson after the end of the transfer window so then a new manager wouldnt come in under false pretenses and not get the money that Grayson was denied, Bates realised that getting promotion on a shoestring budget was impossible and he made Grayson his scapegoat and unfairly sacked him when we were 3 points off the play-offs, even half the time under him we mightve played rubbish but we still grinded out results and at least managed to have 11 men on the pitch and i think we mightve had more of a chance at the play-offs if he was given time, fact is, a lot of these players will not want to get promoted as they are nowhere near good enough for the top flight bar a couple of our players and the rest would either be sold, loaned out or released

I've attended every home game this season and we have gone from bad to worse. Last week I addressed the team and this week I'm going to repeat the action maybe when you get paid the sort of money you guys get paid and have people surrounding you telling you how good you are criticism is hard to take. Fortunately I along with all the other people who pay money we can I'll afford to come and watch you actually can tell you what we think because we paid for the right to do so.......once again that was far
Less than acceptable and what the he'll gives you the right to treat us the fans who pay your wages such total disrespect. And if it is that most of you realise you won't be here next season, surely you should be trying to put yourself in the shop window for someone to buy you. wearing the White shirt should be an honour and a privilege. If your not up for it then don't put yourself up for selection.
